I’ve watched every episode of every season of Big Brother. I had to find online discussion groups since nobody in my life watched it. I followed the people in the first discussion groups from one platform to another over the years until I found RHAP.
I literally just come here coz I missed Taran and was having a taran itch😂😂 and look and behold his just prepared just the fix I needed to last me until bb27. Love it!! Can’t wait

I voted on the episodes and even met Brittany and Josh at Disneyland (they weren't on a date, I asked) I'm so excited you are taking on this task Taran! This is going to be great!
This is the nerdiest comment I will ever make. I really wish y’all had gone into a few things. One, big brother had a theme song. Two, Chicken George’s home town conspired to vote out Brittany because she was the house favorite. Three, Cassandra(RIP) was called a floater(in season one, pre June/Allison). The loose “alliances” between Josh, George, that one lady and Josh, QVC, and that other person. And how they weren’t even really an alliance. I also feel like it’s notable that you can see such a big shift in cast expectations. QVC chooses a one-on-one meeting with a talent agent over seeing her own mother(and is promptly voted out) because she genuinely believes this can launch her career. Something that will go through the next season where you have Will giving Nicole a pep talk about how she’s going to have her own cooking show. The idea that the first out in season one is a “trouble maker”(house perception) named Will and the winner of season two is a trouble maker(genuine fact) named Will. BB1 is boring, but on so many levels it has fascinating seeds for what came later and is often overlooked as the boring prologue(because BB2 is just a better first chapter). I think it could be edited into a really interesting hour and a half to make a cool summary video with the few highs it had for super fans to get the gist. It does have its moments. Life as we’re living today… (I love what y’all are doing and watch the podcast as often as a crazy BB person would, but I have an attachment to BB1 as part of my sunk cost brain rot from watching every episode)

Some very interesting, educated, and high level people were in these discussions, but like me were embarrassed about it in real life. Some things never change.
Way back in the day I was told about Big Brother by a family friend and the first episode I just happened to tune into was the finale of season 1, somehow that was enough to keep me hooked and I been a diehard BB fan ever since. A few years ago I decided to bite the bullet and actually watch all of BB 1 and I barely got through it all.
I watched bb1 - bb23 in order for the 1st time right before bb24 aired, and although I remember struggling through parts of bb1, I liked it enough to continue on to bb2, and overall I’m very fond of it since it was my introduction to bb. I’m not a bb1 hipster/stan lol but I’m definitely higher on it than most bb fans, but I think if I had watched any other season beforehand my opinion would be way different.
Barfbag made a video on how to watch BB:OTT but OTT is basically edited like survivor after the fact. The live aspect is gone(besides highlights or should I say digital dallies) and it's edited like the season was pre-filmed. Basically, they made a feed-only season into a somewhat season but if you don't have feed clips is it very hard to get context likely.

My only real memory of BB1 was the episode where they had to find their pup in the backyard full of other pugs 😂
I became Pug obsessed and called them all Pugita from BB1. I now have a real one and she’s my second! Such great dogs! 🐶
