Excellent list Dan. A few that I'll be reaching for this Spring are: Another 13 from house Le Labo, Pura from Acqua di Parma, English Fern from Penhaligon's, Costa Azzurra from Tom Ford. Keep 'em coming Dan.
I'm looking forward to wearing Lalique Encre Noire Sport this spring. I can't think of a fragrance in my collection that embodies spring more than this one does. It reminds me of a dense forest after a spring rain.
Royal Mayfair is such an elegant fragrance. Once that medicinal opening fades it transforms into something mesmerisingly beautiful. That beautiful gentle rose note you get is just everything
Excellent. I'll be giving the Chanel a test when I get chance. Spring scents for me also include Giorgio Beverly Hills Yellow in moderation because it can be a bit heavy going and Al Haramain Dazzle Intense. It's light and sparkly fruity/floral but a hint of spice. Another good one for a spring or early summer evening I've recently got is Rasasi Yazan. That's pure fresh fruit on me.
Finally a spring list from you. Digging those barbershop fragrances! For the suggestion about the most masculine scents you are asking for, I'd say Fahrenheit, Dark Rebel are two obvious choices. One I love a lot is Noble Vetiver by Chopard.
Have you tried 2 of the flankers Habit Rouge L’eau or Habit Rouge Sport? Curious to hear your thoughts on them. Always a pleasure to watch your videos.
How do you feel about Faconnable by Faconnable for a springtime scent? I have worn it on and off for years, seeking out vintage bottles. Now it's apparently been re-released. I've not smelled/tested the new version.
I'll be wearing most of my Creed's this spring/summer season, especially Creed Silver Mountain Water, Aventus, Viking, Millesime Imperial, Original Vetiver and EROLFA. I have a small sample of Royal Mayfair, and agree its a nice one.
Is there a fragrance that smells exactly like 4711 but performs beastly? This cologne is, in my opinion, one of the best smelling ever, but it lasts a few minutes. Another great video!
Amazing list Dan ! On my spring list will be: Narciso Rodriguez For Him, OdlR Oscar For Men, Cartier Declaration d'Un Soir, Al Haramain L'Venture, Dior Sauvage, Montblanc Individuel, Lalique Encre Noir Sport, VC&A Tsar, Guerlain l'Instant Pour Homme, Thierry Mugler A*Men Ultra Zest :) Best regards from Poland !
Great list. I love some of your more obscure choices. Insense is one of the best masculine florals of all time in my book. Another interesting older spring frag is Fendi Life Essence. Houbigant Cologne Intense is also an often overlooked classic!
As usual hilarious intro , I love all your picks but for me I prefer the armaf club de nuit intense over the l’aventuer from alharamain, yes the opening is Little bit harsh But the dry down and projecting is much better . I love your first place pick the Houbigant intense I have a sample of the EDP and I love the one you made me buy Houbigant Fougere Royal . Thanks again for the Video .
Ginepro di Sardinia is incredible. Fresh enough to be worn in the summer, woody/spicy/robust enough to shine in the winter. GdS, Green Irish Tweed, Tom Ford Vert des Bois, and Zoologist Elephant round out my spring heavy hitters.
This spring/summer I'm wearing al wisam day, john varvatos artisan pure, Chanel allure homme sport eau extreme, invictus Aqua, Versace Dylan blue and Aqua di gio Profumo
Mr.Smelly, I need your advise urgently. I ordered Jaipur Homme by Boucheron and was wrongly sent Boucheron pour Homme. Should I return BPH and wait for Jaipur Homme? I like Eau Sauvage by Dior. I am 50+.
Good to see your giving habit rouge plenty of air time lately ..a masterpiece and in the top 5 greatest in my opinion ..I have the edp and they have put a drop of oud in the dry down.
My classic old masculine scents are Drakkar Noir and Drakkar. No more than 20 sprays before you go out though! My new modern masculine scent is Historie des Parfums (Marquis du Sade) 1740. I don't like it for the 1st hour, but after that I have had so many "raunchy" comments it will always stick with me. (Never get a "oh, you smell nice!, but been pinched on the bum, etc...)
Some say I never grew up, but I'm a young (!!!) 60. Some of those old fragrances are great especially on selected occasions fitting the mood and company.
Pinaud Clubman...SOLD! Very Original Spring list. Interest is sparked💥 Rasasi LaYuqawam and Black No. 1 from House of Matriarch, for me both very Masculine.💪
Once in my gym a guy shat his pants - very literally - while being too ambitious with his bench presses. And he was our resident cologne guy, no less. He hasn't been back since. When I'm in one of my wicked moods, I think of tracking him down in his new gym.
Great list, Mr. Smelly. It's going to be a challenge to find a few, though. 83 degrees F down here in the desert atm. Rotation includes Viking, Luna Rossa Carbon, Icon..... and Perles De Lalique..... really! More men are wearing rose these days, and the Perles kind of has a Kurkdjian Lumiere Noir Pour Homme vibe going on. Let's Project 💨💨💨💨💨
I will wear Versace Dylan Blue, Rasasi Hawas/Mont Blanc Legend Intense, Armaf CDNI, Tres Nuit/Davidoff Cool Water, Moschino UOMO?, Terre d'Hermes, Fan di Fendi
Am I going crazy or is the intro song that Lex made all remastered like its panned out in a cool way and stuff? Or maybe it’s the old audio hallucinations that I get when I’ve eaten my grandpas foul turds again
You like and have Royal Mayfair? now you see fella, this is my all time favourite Creed...wow! You can forget all about your Aventus and that tiresome little GIT, juvenile, but this one is sheer class and a delight to wear. I'm more than pleased you have featured this fragrance and giving it a big voice, in kind, but yeah, and considering people on these forums should know what they are talking about, People always ignore this little gem...It's a fucking crime.
No Invictus Aqua and Dylan Blue? Just kidding mate, I love the your list, lots of fragrances I would love to discover. I wear Capucci Pour Homme and I absolutely love it. Your bit about optimism made me laugh so much. Awesome outfit too.
Your intros are the best. I enjoy watching your channel and your unique fragrance selections.
Excellent list Dan. A few that I'll be reaching for this Spring are: Another 13 from house Le Labo, Pura from Acqua di Parma, English Fern from Penhaligon's, Costa Azzurra from Tom Ford. Keep 'em coming Dan.
Always fun. And your descriptions are consistently evocative.
I agree Ozzy. The first time I tried it I didn't like it. So glad I kept trying it!
Chanel Monsieur wow that lemony burst at the top. Gentlemanly classy. Good choice
Excellent. I'll be giving the Chanel a test when I get chance.
Spring scents for me also include Giorgio Beverly Hills Yellow in moderation because it can be a bit heavy going and Al Haramain Dazzle Intense. It's light and sparkly fruity/floral but a hint of spice.

Creed scents do excel in spring. Royal Magair has really grown on me. Thanks a lot for watching and for the comment .
Is there a fragrance that smells exactly like 4711 but performs beastly?
This cologne is, in my opinion, one of the best smelling ever, but it lasts a few minutes.
Another great video!
Your intro's are the best in the game! Great list as always
Oh man, this is the best intro yet. Near spit out my coffee!

Thanks Scott I will look into Fendi Life Essence.
What's your favorite: Habit Rouge Edt or Edp?
Great call on the Creed Royal Mayfair, I love gin and tonic with my rose in the springtime.
Habit Rouge a beauty. - La Rive ' Athletic Man ' a nice cheap freshie for Spring. also Tommy Girl, lovely tea floral.
I will be using Prada Rossa Carbon , channel Allure sport extreme and CDNI / L’Aventure on rotation
Great picks thanks Gary

Thanks so much carlo. Both those Houbigants are great!
Thanks ,very informative. I like anything from Acqua de Parma for Spring. I know you are a fan too.
Thanks Frank. Vert des Bois would be great in capturing the essence of Spring. Elephant is a bold choice indeed!
These intros are just the best.
I am 50+.
Many people really rate Boucheron PH highly. If you didn’t pay a lot I’d consider owning both.
Thank you for your prompt reply. Appreciate it.
I would pick Guerlain Vetiver instead of Habit Rouge, but this is a matter of personal preference.
Thanks for sharing Mr smelly.. Definitely going to check out milano cento
Good to see your giving habit rouge plenty of air time lately ..a masterpiece and in the top 5 greatest in my opinion ..I have the edp and they have put a drop of oud in the dry down.
Thanks a lot Matt.
No Dunhill Icon this year?
Great choices as always Dan...I'd be curious what u think of Habit Rouge Dress Code...
Thanks a lot E. I tried a small sample of Dress Code and liked it but I’d must try it some more. Nice gourmand twist on the habit rouge theme .
What happened to your last year no 1 it’s not in the list habigant royal fauger ?
Great list, Dan. Thanks!
My classic old masculine scents are Drakkar Noir and Drakkar. No more than 20 sprays before you go out though! My new modern masculine scent is Historie des Parfums (Marquis du Sade) 1740. Nice. I must try that 1740 again. Love 1725 form Histoires des Parfums.
you must be young, I was wearing "English Leather" on my first date!
Some say I never grew up, but I'm a young (!!!) 60. Some of those old fragrances are great especially on selected occasions fitting the mood and company.

I really like your outside the box spring line up. I really want to get a bottle of Milano cento him.
Great list, Mr. Smelly. It's going to be a challenge to find a few, though. 83 degrees F down here in the desert atm. Thanks Kerino. Wow that's hot for March! I must check out that Lalique... they do some great scents.
Elegant list. I love Chanel pour. M a grest scent for sure i hoped it lasted longer than 4 hours :(
It is a true classic. A little restrained in performance for sure.
I will wear Versace Dylan Blue, Rasasi Hawas/Mont Blanc Legend Intense, Armaf CDNI, Tres Nuit/Davidoff Cool Water, Moschino UOMO?, Terre d'Hermes, Fan di Fendi
Creed Royal 👑 Oud on the niche side and Dunhill Icon on the designer side.
Rive Gauche YSL. Team #smellyarmy ftw! 😃
Some bloody good choices there mr smelly, i haven't given a lot of thought to my spring fragrances yet ,better get my skates on 😞
Thanks David . Let us what you will wear this spring when you’ve decided!
You have to add Alexandria's fragrances "No apologies" to that masculine beast mode list haha..only 1 and a half sprays Max.
Am I going crazy or is the intro song that Lex made all remastered like its panned out in a cool way and stuff? Or maybe it’s the old audio hallucinations that I get when I’ve eaten my grandpas foul turds again
Great list MrSmelly 👌
Great selection!
Milano Cento is KILLING it in your lists Dan. Perhaps they should look into giving you an optimistic sponsorship? lol
Yeah they should! ha ha. I just couldn't leave it out as it is the perfect spring scent.
Of course the one and only original vintage Polo ;-)
The original dunhill edition from 1984 👌👌👌
Can u do a top 10/5 aquatic scents of 2018
Common man, it's -30 degrees in Calgary and you are talking about spring?
Good list though.
Chanel platinum egoiste/ Guerlain heritage
Big 👍👍for Royal Mayfair 😁

You the best mate!
Thanks so much Ryszard.

Spring was invented for wearing Aventus

Ha ha. Yes I'm looking into a new camera. I'm glad Jeremy got his back in the end.
Terre D'Hermes
Definitely a very solid choice of fragrance for springtime.
