Roger is pretty creative musically. Even if he isn't a virtuoso he has a way of carving out his own path entirely. That's what makes bands like Pink Floyd so great is that each member provides such a unique approach to their songwriting and playing style. It all comes together sounding so rich and fully realized. Good stuff. Even just a doodle on a synth and it sound like something written 10 or 15 years later. Sorry for the positive rant!

What used to be a fortune is now available for a lot less. Instruments within themselves . So cool to see artists use their different strokes !
Analog synths can drift especially with voltage difference and being on a while so having a tuning knob is actually handy, modern analog synths have them as well

Present-Day Roggie kinda went from "Richard Gere" to "Present-Day Harrison Ford"...kinda craggy, old and gruff yet still having a bit of "Silver Fox" vibe. I'm more into 1960s/Early-Mid 70's Roggie with his weirdly androgynous & vampy yet dorky & equine looks. He's built like Alice The Goon but he's sexy. Those silky chocolate tresses and those plump lips...YUM!

He has come up with lots of great music, but, I think he was great as a writer and big picture guy. David Gilmour and Rick Wright brought the melodic genius. Nick Mason was a solid drummer. Syd Barret was also amazing. How many geniuses can one band have?
