His Evil Dead remake was incredible especially the gore Fede is a talented director Don’t Breathe is great too
Yes! An alien movie that (at least looks) like it knows what made the Alien franchise great. Dark, claustrophobic horror. Can't wait for this one!

Fede Alvarez' Evil Dead was amazing! A completely different vibe than the original and that's great, because the original already existed. Loved Don't Breath as well and I can't wait for this! Aliens is my #1 movie of all time and this trailer hit all the marks for me.

Speaking of Evil Dead. I enjoyed it for what it was. Jane Levy did great.
His Evil Dead is miles better than Evil Dead Rise and his is one of my favorite horror movies of all time. Romulus looks great!
I didn't watch Evil Dead Rise yet, but I do like the 2013 Evil Dead. (only now realizing there is a decade gab between them)

I haven't gone to a movie theater in years. I might go see this, though.
Evil Dead 2013 is very good, so I have high hopes for this. I expect that, just as he did with Evil Dead 2013, this will be a fairly simple, straightforward installment that takes the series back to its roots.
Alien is probably the greatest sci-fi/horror of all time. This may not achieve greatness like the original, for the same reason that Evil Dead 2013 didn't. It wasn't as original as, well, the original.
This doesn't have to be the best in the franchise. As a fan, I just want a good, solid installment that doesn't needlessly cram itself into the established universe.
If this is a fairly simple, straightforward installment with solid acting, and pacing, then it will absolutely be a hit.
This looks like a legit good movie. The shots are so creative.
One thing I noticed a lot of people miss is the one scene where the person is floating towards a whole bunch of acid blood. I just hope it’s not some cop out and someone rescues them right away.

Cool reaction and dialogue (I just joined your channel fam). Alien: Romulus seems genuinely creepy, and quite scary. I feel that they really took their time, and put their heart and soul into this one here - "I'm all here for it."
As an Isolation player, it has been a while I have come across Alien franchise films that I enjoyed :(
Apparently, the director was inspired by isolation and it shows.
His Evil Dead was perfect and Dont Breathe was great... the sequels of those 2 not so much cuz he didnt direct those
Wow. I'd never seen a trailer until now. Unfortunately my closest cinema is a 50 mile round trip. I'd love to go see this and the Deadpool/Wolverine... unless they show it in the morning 🤔

@@funnydepressive32 yeah, I'm glad they didn't try to do anything too out there with the animation. 2D is perfect to keep in line with the look of the game. Plus the cast lineup is pretty dope.

Another Alien movie? Is Hollywood so creatively bankrupt that we need another Alien movie? I'm really tired of all of these remakes, reboots and movie franchises that need to be put to rest. No more Transformers, Indiana Jones, Jurassic World, Hunger Games, Terminator or the brain dead Fast and Furious and any other movie franchise that has run it's course and needs to just go away. I mean the last good Alien movie was nearly 40 years ago. Just stop it!!! Sorry but i just want to see something original. 😠
Well don't watch it then... no need to waste your energy on something that you can't control...
Transformers: Needs more movies. Good movies. Because Bay films ranged from half decent to mediocre to trash.
Indiana Jones: You are right. Should have ended with Part 3.
Jurrasic World: Right again. Doesn't need more movies. Jurrasic World should have been a standalone one.
Hunger Games: Barely had much. It's just the books dictating how much they can go.
Terminator: Partially agreed. T1, T2 and Sarah Conor Chronicles is Terminator for me. They can explore the lore further and make a better version of Terminator: Salvation, still.
Fast and Furious: Who cares? This is for it's own fanbase, it's almost like Bond movies at this point, but much less iconic.
Finally...
Alien: Well some of the original scripts for Alien 3 seemed lit. Unfortunately, they damaged the franchise right there.
Scott wanted to expand on lore, but it went nowhere, overbanking on philosophy. So we need a palette refresher. Tbf, people want more "good" Alien movies rather than Alien movies.
