It's unbelievable that a 20 year old laptop still looks modern

Those display bezels make it's design to feel a bit modern for it's age!

The Titanium PowerBook G4 was my first computer in college as well in 2001. I loved it, but the paint was chipping heavily and the hinges were have coming off. I sold it and the 14" iBook G4 did me well for a lot of years. Of course I missed it years later and I had to have one back again in my collection again. Thanks for the video!

Nice video. It‘s very cool that you put your rescaled wallpapers on your website. Thanks :)

I had one of those SSDs for mi iBook G4.
Because of the legacy of IDE, it wasn’t that much faster at read and write, but random seek times were much better.
Nowadays you can CF-IDE adaptors, with a SDCard-CF adaptor, and a μSD-SD adaptor. The OWC Drive is much nicer though.

That was fun. Good job by the writers, hitting the crisis point of the drama about halfway through. Then resolution. Audience goes home happy. (And nice job vamping...those podcastathon skills kicking in.)

Torx screws are always smaller than you think they are...
    I have *never* guessed correctly.

Zooming in was a great idea.
The other thing RUclipsrs should do is use HiDPI mode when screen sharing, so we can see what they are doing when watching on our phones and iPads.

yup i lay the screws out according the place they came from. Then I endeavour to remember to turn it back the way i was oriented to it when i took the screws out.

I'm going to try and replace the old HD from my Titanium as well. The current HD makes a crackling sound. I assume it's a goner. If I upgrade tho will the Classic 9.2.2 still work? Or are upgraded HD's only for OS 10 and up?
If so rather than re-install the system software could I copy the system, (migrate it?), from another old laptop?

I have an Apple 2 GS, a ][C. a ][E, an enhanced ][E, an integer based Apple, and another Apple & still use them today.
Also 4 Macbooks, Powerbooks and Ibooks and a Silicon Mac M1, a 2006 Mac Mini, 2005 Mac Mini, 4 Ipads, an Iphone 8 and a recently purchased Iphone XR & in the bedroom a 2008 Imac 21 inch, and 3 Macs that need repair, a 17 inch Cinema Display & am getting a 20 inch at the end of the month and I found on the street a Thunderbolt display with a broken glass panel that I hope to restore.
I am intro Apple and old Mac gaming and I still use my older Macs and Apple ][s to play my older games so the Apple ][ is NOT dead in my home.
I play a lot of old SSI games on my ][e, need a new 3 1/2 drive for the Gs, play Arkanoid on the GS & am playing Diablo 2 on my 2006 and I want a Titanium Macbook so I can play Civilization 3 Complete.
I used to have Imac g3s, DV, a clamshell Ibook and a Newton and a Performa 550 and the original small Imac and 2 really old Powebooks with the trackball.
I will be buying a new Ipad next year and a 24 inch, 30 inch and Thunderbolt display next year and hope to get a Mac Cube because I have an aquarium someone made out of a Mac Cube case and it would look so cool to have it lit up next to a G4.
I also have an Apple color and green screen monitor as well and a Sega Genesis, N64, Atari 5200 and a lot of Nintendo devices.
I am 71 and knew Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak and I also knew Bill Gates and Woz is a great guy.
I went to Homebrew to see the Apple 1 and the first computer I ever used was a PDP 1 and I played Spacewar on it in 1968 when I was 16.
I have a lot of Apple ][ and older Mac games as well.
    Apple ][ Forever.
