I'd never watched the JESC before; another RUclipsr, ESC Tom, got me into it this year. Quality-wise, it was really solid, and I was really impressed by how hard the kids worked AND by how well the organizers took care of them.
Going in, my favorites were Fia and Arhanna - but on the night it was Viola Gjyzeli who impressed me the most. Prior to that, I'd heard the song and had seen the underwhelming national final performance. And then she came out and did THAT; my jaw dropped.
She might've only come in eighth, but that was the best result for a completely solo act (I've since learned that JESC voters like dancers).

Ich bin nicht einmal wirklich sauer über das Ergebnis. Ja die Juries hätte echt mehr gönnen können, aber 4ter im Online Voting is mehr als ich mir je hätte erträumen können.
