- Why is art so expensive? The Mona Lisa is valued at $970 million!! Well my art doesn’t quite fetch that price, but I have been blessed to have sold paintings in many different countries worldwide. I can answer the cost question from my own perspective as a stay-at-home mom and business owner/artist: Because it requires the commitment of your core being. Come journey with me through a day as an artist and we’ll explore what it takes to make and sell art. I’ll be painting a pen and watercolor parrot and talking with you along the way. Stay creative friend!
Your home is just beautifully adorned with your art
I love your explanations here. I admit, I give a lot of my art away for free. I've sold many as well over the years (especially when I did acrylics). But when a friend or family member sees something I've painted and asks to buy it, I say, "Oh, you can just have it. That was just practice." I know, I know, I need to work on that. 😊
@@WatercolorKari Honestly I often do the same. Sometimes a piece just belongs with someone. ❤️
@@DanielleRosaria That is so true and such a beautiful way to look at it! 🥰
I love all of your videos I'm so glad I met you on the religious site today. I've been on your site and subscribed for at least an hour now
