I was at the concert....it is a shame you cannot see more of the visuals...they were all about inclusion, love and moving past prejudice. Brought tears to my eyes.

You do realize there are many religious out there or are you the type that thinks only your brand of religious is the real truth? Here's another thing, man is being punished for crucifying his only son, yet it's been 2,000 years and MILLIONS of believers have sacrificed THEIR sons and THEIR lives. I guess that's not enough is it? So much for the forgiving God I guess. No I think it's YOU that's going to be disapointed.
What God doing for the 100's of millions of years before Jesus showed. It's funny there is no mention of those millions of years or any explanation. Religion has been perverted and used by man to control and amass fortunes and ruthless power bases, million slaughtered in his name...and again...crickets from the same forgiving God. By the "surprise of my life" you're suggesting I'll be going to hell if I don't read and by that token believe what I'm reading, act accordingly and thereby save myself from damnation. I'm sorry but compared to the original this is horrible. Flittery over the top played runs and where he was singing it was vibrato heavy and...whatever it just sounds bad. I'm a huge fan, Yellow Brick and Brown dirt are beautiful albums. His 1970 live version is perfection. Yes I realize all the time that has passed but If Tom Jones can sound amazing during the Queens Jubilee then surely Elton can sound better than this.
elton john has sounded better on this track but you gotta know this guy had crazy mad rockstar touring schedules performing upto 10 nights in a row as recent as 1995 and hasnt had a break. he sounded much better in mid 2022 on this song and this is late 2022 where his voice is a bit worn out. he came back strong in early 2023 and his voice was much better than this
