I don't have a very experienced nose but when I compared the two there was hardly any noticeable difference. The same is true with their Caribbean Water which is a clone of Virgin Island Water. Alt 26 doesn’t seem cheaper than cdnim. It’s 50 for 2oz. I have the cdnim edt, edp and parfum aka limited edition. Have you tried those? Alt26 isn’t even as cheap as the limited edition. Check it out and lmk what you think. Many have said that the edp and for sure the parfum took care of the harsh edt opening.

I bought CDNIM, AND the longevity I'd horrible. It's literally completely gone after 2-3 hours. ALT SMELLS better than CDNIM. I GUESS the new Armaf is not great.

Like BO ( that I didn't shower 4 a month in Summer time Louisiana Cajun backwoods ) especially during the warmer weather. I wasn't aware of it because I didn't smell what everyone else did. Only wore it 6 times. But I got rid of it. Now looking to add to my collection already. What U may want to see is possibly what types of men's body wash/ deodorant goes well with each cologne U feature. This way it's a good pairing & doesn't cancel out the scents or one over powering the others. Because sometimes. If a guy wearing a cologne long enough he doesn't smell it like everyone else does on him. Especially in the different seasons. That's going to be a pleasant , not over powering smell to women & those around him. Just a suggestion Sir that I've found most other people who do mens fragrance s don't talk bout.

An excellent alternative to Parfums De Marly Percival 4.2oz. ($190) is Mont Blanc Legend Intense 3.4oz ($40). They smell almost identical.
