The Spirit Temple is possibly my favorite dungeon in the entire series and its music was a factor. This version is cool, it sounds like what would happen if a later version of Link were to go back to the Spirit Temple long after the age of the Hero of Time.
The Spirit Temple was definitely my favorite and most memorable one in OoT! The theme hits hard, too, because the game required both young and adult Link to complete it! What a masterpiece!
I adore this so much. I use to let your music play in the background when I would clean my hamster's room whom I named Zelda and roughly a month ago she passed away, and I've been using her music since then to cope.
This was always my second favorite temple in Ocarina of Time and I believe it had the second best music too (next to the Water Temple of which I still listen to your remix weekly). I like how this track slowly builds, I've always been interested in ancient Egyptian culture as an interest and as I go down rabbit holes on Wikipedia this is the perfect track to listen to.
@@RebeccaETripp Good question! I'm into ancient cultural history and naval history the most. I watch a lot of documentaries, I particularly like ones where they tell you the history and might combine it with trying to engineer objects or things from the past, in the modern day, but with ancient techiques. Like the NOVA series "Secrets of Lost Empires" I own on DVD. Are you into history as well? How do you feel when you hear the Spirit Temple music?
@@mattblom3990 Ooh! I just looked that up! ^_^ I will have to check it out. My whole family is into history, especially my mother! I'm into it, but I'm no expert by any means. The Spirit Temple song is beautiful. I find it (as with most mystical VGM) to be generically "ethnic", but leaning more towards a specific culture, in this case, Egyptian than a lot of VGM, haha. Ironically, the Spirit Temple track is my mother's favourite VGM piece. My parents were never into video games at all, but they started paying attention to the music when my brothers and I played Zelda.
@@RebeccaETripp ,Yeah! The "ethnic" nature of some tracks you mentioned reminds me of the Fire Temple in OoT. We had an early copy of the game (I still own it) where the Islamic chant was still in the Fire Temple. Even as a kid, I had seen enough documentaries to know explicitly it was an Islamic prayer and being the late 1990s, I wondered if it would create a controversy...Which it appears to have, since the chant was removed from later versions of the game.
David and Rebecca have made another splendid collaboration, wonderfully melding the artistry and sensibilities you each bring! Deliberate, serene; inviting the pilgrim to take all the time in the world to become immersed in hidden truths of the world.
Instantly fell in love with that background pic -- it's awesome! Now enjoying this exquisite remake of one of my favourite OoT themes...this is so perfect!
How did I miss this when it was first uploaded?! You took the mystical feel of the original Sprit Temple music and multiplied it by a thousand. You and David did an amazing job on this arrangement!
Of course! I've love all your music. Even after being out for years, I still go back to some of your old tracks and get that same excitable feeling as the first time. You find a way to make each and every track unique and spiritual.
It is very beautiful and I loved your channel .... By the way, I invite you to try a rare and almost unknown game, but its story is very beautiful and the music in it is one of the best I have heard in games.. and I have played a lot. The name of the series is Growlanser, the second part of which is translated and has a wonderful story, then the third and fourth parts They all have great stories and music Honestly, this may be the most Underrated game series in history
Hey Rebecca, really long time listener, though not continuously. I was wondering if you would be interested and willing to mirror your content on other platforms. I'm trying to use YT less, but it's hard when most of the channels I watch aren't over there.
I'm in the process of getting my work onto other platforms. It's very slow, and tedious work, however. This song happens to be on several platforms already!

I like that take!
The urge to visit spirit temple again✨

One of the most unique melodies, redone by one of the most talented music channels.
Thanks. ^_^ ☕🍪

Sorry for your loss.
glad dave invited you to be on the album this song turned out great! I love his music so having you guys collab on anything is a treat!
Thanks. :3 I like working with him.
I love that new version, your old one was also great. You know how to make me happy

Check out RWanLink and MajorLink(especially for his animated series he’s done.)
Ah, so you're in to history? :) Or just Egypt in particular?

Finally 😍
I suddenly want to play OoT, again. Thanks, Rebecca!
☕🍪
very cool
This arrangement is awesome! Anyone else getting Skyward Sword vibes from the picture at 2:17?
This is just incredible, I already know I'll be listening to this on repeat
Thank you so much!
Best version of this piece, no doubt. Breathtaking!
Thanks so much! :D

Yooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Thanks for this! ☺️
^_^
Here's to 25 years of OoT.
I loved your previous versions of this one, and love this one too. Thank you!
Thank you! :)
I LOVE it!
Okay immediately….epic version and great rendition ❤😁
Thank you! ^_^

This sounds something straight out of the Ura project.... Amazingly soul-tugging.... absolutely divine. Sounds just right for a Spirit Temple
Thank you! ^_^

This is gorgeous

Woohoo, more zelda.
My cats love this sound, me too 👍🏻😁
Very atmospheric.
A massively underrated song from OoT's OST.
Nice!
💕
Yes. I’m glad you did this, I’ve been saying for you to do all the LOZ tracks. Especially OOT for sure. ❤
Great job! Happy Holidays!😀❤
Same to you! Merry Christmas! ^_^
Thank you Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!😀😃
This is truly a beautiful rendition!!
Thanks! :D
It's beautiful.

Definitely never heard of that one! Thanks!
The only thing wrong with this is Link holding the sword in his right hand.
Very relaxing mix of one of my favorite OoT tracks.
Have I ever told you that you are living proof that immortality exists? 😊
I'll pay Mr. Ramos a visit.
Thanks! ☕🍪
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
☕🍪
You still haven't got yourself into Touhou series, did you?
Maith thú! álainn

Wrong hand
Hes supposed to be left handed. I know he's been right handed in some games but he's predominantly left handed in most games.
