Robbie says "It's a bit of everything", and she's not wrong. In fact, I think the reason it works where a lot of the DCEU falls short is that it doesn't try to aim so high, instead it's more of a street-view wild ride.
I would have preferred if the roller derby was the climax having Harley fake out Black Mask by making him think she was in the crowd when she was rolling in the rink.
