I try to do the 2 bounce thing and all I do it roll out causing a longer put When I am on mats it works but not on grass..

This shot needs to be played from a tight lie to have sufficient spin to hop and stop.

Make sure you are using a urethane cover ball - the higher spinning balls like Chromesoft, ProV1x, etc.
