The main thing that interests me in Australia is whether there is deep protection up the back of the calf, due to bull ants that can crawl up your leg, or god forbid snakes. Unfortunately ventilation is also critical because things get very hot. Chaps add extra thickness to to everything and can slide around and get tangled as you dodge through vegetation. I have Clogger pants which have strange ventilation that makes my sweaty legs cold, and the stretch material is down the back of the leg. The reflecto stuff just gets ripped off and covered in carbon. They have to be washed pretty hard. Dark colour is better.

No protection on the back of the legs ventilation on the back of the knees works pretty good

That review should be worth a pair of husqvarna trousers! 👌👍 I finally listened to the wife and bought a pair but they are the "classic" version. Might have to give these ones a try👊

Great job, they all do the same thing, I think the main difference is comfort

How are you finding the classic version?? I just brought some Oregon Yukon’s from screwfix but they have Velcro pockets that don’t seal at the ends, so can fill up with saw dust. Thinking of returning them and getting the Husqvarna classic would be nice to know your thoughts. Cheers

@@iangrant8967 I'm liking the classic pants, I wish the side pocket was an inch wider to fit my cell phone but other than that zero complaints. I would love to try the technical series pants but they are a little pricey for the amount I use them. I forgot to do up the zippers on the pockets once so I completely agree with your concerns 👊

@andrewscott2866 my pockets are always full of saw dust

Thinking of getting these. How is the sizing? Is it accurate? How does the sizing compare to Carhartt pants.

Whats the deal with their SMARTGUARD jacket? - smart enough to offer protection to the arms, neck and torso? If not, re to Smart is probably pushing it! ;)
