Chandrayaan-3, India's third lunar mission, will launch from the Sriharikota spaceport at 2.35pm on July 14 onboard the GSLV-Mk3 or LVM3, and if all goes well, Vikram (lander) would land on the Moon on August 23 or 24. In Bengaluru, Isrochairman S Somanath stated, "If the launch occurs on that day [July 14], we will reach the Moon by the end of August." The landing will take place on August 23 or 24, as we want to land when the Sun rises on the Moon, giving us 14-15 [Earth] days to work.
