Great looking yard. The beds look awesome. Like how you’ve layered the beds and broken up the grass with the beds. Will be amazing as it matures.

I use Scott’s lawn soil or black cow from Lowe’s to repair the brown spots. Black cow is much cheaper It protects the spots from the sun while it’s helping to repair the spots. They both have low fertilizer and will not burn the grass.

Garden looks great. I too, am new to Florida and am watching Construction Landscape videos. What did you use to amend the soil, and how long have your plants been in the ground. Enjoy your beautiful yard.

Property sounds inexpensive for waterfront at 600K, but what are you paying for homeowner's and property insurance? This can make a huge difference in a mortgage payment.

We pay $8k a year for flood and hurricane insurance. It’s expensive, but so is all insurance in Florida.

@@photohawker Im guessing your property taxes are another 8k? Florida is expensive! But, compared to NY and California I guess it's still a bargain.
