But punjabis lost their own state first it was cut by 1947 leaders more tjan half punjab was given to pakistan and again it was cut into pieces. Now only a small punjab is remained with punjabis. Reason for this we punjabis don't have good leaders. If read history some parts of PUNJAB was snatched by Afganistan also. Aftet many decades Maharaja Ranjeet Singh took back parts of PUNJAB. So now punjabis need leader like MAHARAJA RANJIT Singh who will teach lesson to terrorist gvt.

Chandigarh seemed to be a viable sensible capital solution before Himachal Pradesh was created. Chandigarh was centrally located, well connect city. Also planned one. With the years passed, Its only Logical for Haryana and Punjab to have some centrally locatec capital city, like what Shimla is for HP and Lucknow for UP. It works for better administration and ease of access for all people. The fight for Chandigarh is a futile exercise. The state who wins Chandigarh as capital, will have much to loose by having a capital city located at the edge of The state boundary. Amagine Punjabis of Fazila or Pathankot having to cross entire PB or a Haryanvis of Palwal to cross entire HR to reach Chandigarh. Lets face it. In the modern era, where service sector is booming in almost every state of India, Punjab and Haryana are quite lagging behind. (As evident by punjabi youth foreign migration every year due to lack of jobs). In such situation , both states can benefit from a centrally located Metropolitan capital.

Chandigarh seemed to be a viable sensible capital solution before Himachal Pradesh was created. Chandigarh was centrally located, well connect city. Also planned one.
With the years passed, Its only Logical for Haryana and Punjab to have some centrally locatec capital city, like what Shimla is for HP and Lucknow for UP. It works for better administration and ease of access for all people.
The fight for Chandigarh is a futile exercise. The state who wins Chandigarh as capital, will have much to loose by having a capital city located at the edge of The state boundary.
Amagine Punjabis of Fazila or Pathankot having to cross entire PB or a Haryanvis of Palwal to cross entire HR to reach Chandigarh.
Lets face it. In the modern era, where service sector is booming in almost every state of India, Punjab and Haryana are quite lagging behind. (As evident by punjabi youth foreign migration every year due to lack of jobs). In such situation , both states can benefit from a centrally located Metropolitan capital.
