To fix the scarf: heat it up with an hairdryer until it's easier to bend>slowly shape it on the figure>cool it so it stays in position. If you let it cool by itself it will go back to its original shape. Heating the feet should also help it fit on the base. This works for officially licensed figures too. It should work on the one you have to build too, btw, the Garage kit. If there's any piece that doesn't seem to fit quite perfectly, just heat it up a bit and re-shape it. Just be careful because that's resin, it gets softer way faster than pvc/plastic.

hii english is not my first lenguage srry :( BUT for the paint to not look that thick or handmade on the figure you have to put water in the paint like a LOT and is even better if you use a wet pallet (i think yt have some tutorials to make one) to keep the paint humid, i paint miniatures and use this techinic and i think probably this is gonna work with figures too and use a black or dark gray primer !!! btw i loved the results 🤍🤍🤍

I might try the painting a figure too, always wanted to do it tbh 10:44 It ended up looking really good, the thing you notice that makes it feel really obvious it's hand painting I thinks is bc of the gesso as it gives a bit of texture to the base and the way you did the shadows, as it's more of a traditional painting-like style. If you ever do another painting an anime figure, you should try doing cell-shading when doing shadows and highlights, it ends up being really pretty and looks really cool. There's this girl that does a style similar to how the figure would look if it was out of a colored page in manga(or in some anime) with a lot of different figures (I think she has also a book explaining the process and stuff) her channel is MAマンch (Maman channel) and I think it can be a really good reference.

a good technique for figure customising is getting the wet dark paint in the crevices then wipe of and then go in with a dry brush for highlights
