Everyone loves Del (with very good reason), but Rodney is the glue that holds the show together. Nicholas Lyndhurst is particulary good in this episode
Competition first prize go's to parents and the sprog Rodney Trotter at top form to you Square Del boy🤣😂1:40 thumb up👍 At loads of millions a £ pounds with top form David Jason & Nichola Lyndhurst and famous Jolly boys outing✔
Lol Poor Rodney, Del didn't half get him into some seriously awkward situations throughout the series. No wonder he felt like wanted to kill him sometimes.
Rodney Has to Pretend to be a Child?! | Only Fools and Horses | BBC Comedy Greats 1811am 27.10.22 indeed... that smell. the stench of someone else having entered yer home... the kind of face rodney pulled when the stink hit his nasal passages.
I know it won't be a popular view but I do think it was the supporting cast that made this show - Rodney, Boycie and Trigger in particular. I always found Jason's wheeler dealer cockney style a tad too exaggerated and over acted.
I felt exactly the same Eddie - Rodney, when he breaks down in the lift after the loss of the baby is something that I don't think Del could have ever pulled off, and there was a great deal of depth to the character of Rodney - also when he discovered the truth of who his real father was at the end of the series, that took real depth of acting. It is sad that in real life Nick Lyndhurst has had a great deal of tragedy in his life in recent years with the reallife death of his son at a very young age, and his career seems to have stalled - entirely unfair how some succeed and others perhaps more talented fail.
By far, the best comedy I have ever seen, the writing, acting, and character development over several series are - outstanding.
"How the hell am i gonna pass for 14?! " 😂
And a half
no matter how many times I see this it makes me laugh out loud, as somebody said comedy like this is no more.
The BBC could only dream of airing something as brilliant as this nowadays.
A true classic
Another classic moment 🤣👍
‘You were in the lead when I saw you!’ 😂😂
Every comedy writer in the world take notes.
The greatest British comedy of all time was written by John Sullivan...an Irishman.
@@alslevie1986 half Irish but more importantly a Londoner.

When is someone going to release every episode without edits? I would buy that in a second but I point blank refuse to buy the edited episodes.
Don’t get any ketchup down your shirt?
Ooh... you can sense Rodney wanted to kill Del at the airport there and then. Tbh I don't blame him. Del did push his luck a lot!

Your view is incorrect. By far the best-written comedy I have ever seen... and I have seen a few.
