How lucky are we that we got to grow up with the ABB, and now in our homestretch to the great hereafter, we get to listen to great artists like these fellas?
Thank you Billy and to all in the Band. You always seem to know what to do, how to do it and then play the right thing at the right time. Things like this mean a LOT to a LOT of folks. Your knowledge and respect for the ones that came before you is wonderful ! Keep on doing what you do BMFS !!! 😂💪🎸
Man I hate that. I saw Kenny Wayne Shepherd recently and it was the same way. Phones up the entire time. The worst part is that they were recording the show to put on DVD but people still would rather have crappy phone vids. I recorded the first 30 seconds of a couple of songs at the very beginning and that was it for me. I bought a Blu Ray copy of the show so I had no use for 2 hours worth of phone vids.
@@jeffdamon1098seriously. What makes it worse is when they sell alcohol at the venue. So now you have loud drunks that won't be quiet and don't realize how loud & belligerent they're being.
Chills when pic popped up at the begging of tune … ever since saw him live with Duane when 11 years old…the Brothers are in my soul… of course Billy never disappoints
Billy is the real deal. I think he will prove himself to be as good or better than many of the artists that he pays his respects to. His band is excellent too.
Great show!! As usually Billy delivers. I was one back from the rail in front center and it was even better to be 10 feet away. Besides the Jessica tease in this video, Billy teased Midnight Rider a couple of times during the night. Just a magical evening. Billy is truly a generational talent. If he wasn't playing mostly bluegrass he would be selling out stadiums.
Nice, so happy to see Billy take time to honor Dicky Betts, not only was Dicky worthy of the effort its also simply the right thing to do. I like Billy more and more as time goes on!
@@jonkimmelI hesitate every time I turn someone on to Billy knowing that each new fan makes it harder to get seats and the venues get bigger. Two years ago we saw him in 1200 seat theatres. Those days are over. My wife and I were lucky enough to do what most people can't. We went to Europe this past November to catch shows in places he is not as popular. Anyhow good for Billy, he's worked hard and brings his "A" game every night.
@@williamfriedman1840 I'm sorry I caught on late, around the beginning of covid. I did have the opportunity to see several shows right up front, night 4 at the Cap, and w/Trey on the rooftop. Hopefully there will be more opportunities.
Beautiful music. Sad that people are so inconsiderate to be talking over it. The camera work is shaky but the audio is decent. The ABB and Billy are awesome.

Thank you, Billy. You did Dickey proud.

At the end of every Allman Brothers Band show I was lucky enough to see the walkout music was Little Martha. R.I.P Dickey
They would play it at the end of every show. It was them paying respect to Duane and the only song he ever wrote.
Duane 😢
That little martha intro was beautiful ❤
God bless billy strings.
I got choked up, OK I'm crying.
Billy is a Real Special Soul❤️ Thanks for honoring one of the greatest players from my generation! You did real Well 👍

Phones recording phones recording phones recording musical acts. What a time to be alive.
I propped my phone up on the wall to record while I danced 💃🏼🌈☀️
Can't stand how folks won't shut up.
Hear ya. Personally I may take a coupla clips but I really enjoy soaking up an experience just for myself.

Love that Jessica tease at 5:15
All I could hear was Kenny Tarmac talking about “ Hey we just landed!”
Why do people pay for a show and then talk the whole time.
RIP Mr Betts
Awesome
pretty badass
Ya man 🤘🙌✌️
So good but why can’t these people shut the hell up when he’s playing…..👍👍😡🎸
Boomer bends ftw ❤it
I wish they would have played the whole Jessica
Guess you had to be there. I blame it on a phone recording.
🎸💥❤️💥🎸
They could have found a better picture of Dickey for the backdrop, doesn't even look like himself in that photo lol
It’s an older pic from the earlier ABB days
How can people be talking and yelling during this?! What idiots!
I was there everyone was singing it was awesome
all the background talking, christ
