The floral print top is very nice without the cardigan. To me that's a matronly look, but not the blouse alone. It looks very nice. Also, there is a Beacon x West Kei line, I believe. Not sure if you got the the bottom of that or not but if you are not happy with the fit and fabric, I guess it doesn't really matter. The ivory blouse is so pretty on you and very versatile. Great keeper. Thanks for sharing!

The one on the invoice was described as "clip dot" and there was only a floral pattern on the one I received. But like you said, I wasn't going to keep it anyways, so it really doesn't matter. Liked the white top & the floral one. Liked the floral better not tucked in & I think the tulip sleeve looked great! But if you don’t love it, forget it. Maybe try another tulip sleeve though, does that little V slim the arms, maybe? 🤔 Although, your arms are FINE! 💐
The cream top has your name on it - it's like with the cream sweater (see, I'm getting the hang of US language!!) from a few vids back - cream is definitely one of your colours! Hi Tina, I like the top that you are keeping. It's a wardrobe staple. The floral top is nice but not worth the price. I'm a Grandmother and it's fantastic. Love both of my Grandsons and I never take offense to the "Grandma" comments. The navy cardigan is dreadful. Just received a 5/5 box. A pair of light wash jeans, 2 work wear tops and 2 business casual tops. Next fix won't be until July. Have a great week!

Good morning Tina. I really liked the white top on you. You could wear that with a lot of jackets and sweaters too. I liked the flower top (without the cardigan) but not for $59. Those flower prints are very popular right now though but if it’s not you, you wouldn’t pull for it. I have a pink jean jacket and those kind of tops look cute under it. I did not like the sage top at all, it was ill fitting and that is not my favorite color on you. The lavender is out because of the color and it did look rather matronly with the flower top. I agree the navy cardigan is not what you were looking for. I would get the white blouse. I thought $44 was a fair price for that. Have a great Tuesday! 😊
I love purple on me, but I agree with you. Purple is not your color. Lavender, especially, can read frumpy depending on what the garment is. I love to have a good number of white tops..the one you have there looks fantastic on you. I don't know why they sent you another top we with elastic in the sleeve. You said last time, that you weren't happy with elastic. I like the floral top but it doesn't suit you. I wouldn't wear it either.

I liked the floral top on you too (no thick or chubby upper arms silly! ). The pattern reminds me of Liberty of London which is always a classic, but I've noticed that sticking to solid colors instead of prints has been my habit lately. Btw, you don't look like a grandma, but I think it was a good choice to not keep. I know we have a lot of things in common but I gotta say I love lavender and it's one of my 'colors' so if it were ME, I'd keep the lavender cardi 😊. Hi ! I really wish the first (the white blouse) was lined. It sort of makes the thing look a little cheap. Also, does polyester bake you? I get so hot! Ok, so if I got the floral top, I would send it back... partly because of the polyester... partly because I agree with you - it skews old. This box would be a miss for me. Sorry. I know I sound like a downer. I'm overall annoyed at Stitch Fix's lack of quality for the price.

I really don't care for polyester blouses and I personally am trying to get away from crazy florals. I think they are aging....not contemporary. I am way older than you are and I would not wear that floral blouse! I think long cardigans are aging in some cases. I am getting away from those as well, with only a few exceptions. In the summer/warmer spring days, I like the short sheer tie front cardigans to wear over sleeveless items. I have never gotten a styling service to send me any of those!! Glad you found something you liked!
Hi Francine! I have to agree, I do get a lot of polyester from Stitch Fix. As long as they aren't tight under my arms, I don't mind them most of the time. @tinasbestmidlife I'm so happy to have you in my life. I was with Henry today. Unfortunately, he's not better. He broke out in a rash on his face over the weekend. Lindsay's pediatrician thought it might have been Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease, but it's gone on too long. I think he has a sinus infection. My brother caught it too. So they're actually going at 8pm to the pediatrician. And you are so right. Everyone looked older or was it just because we were younger and perceived them that way?? And many in our parents' generation were smokers, and sun bathers and both can really age you. All of the old Hollywood starlets looked terrible as they aged. I think I'm going to try sleeping on my head, to help with the gravity situation. Since when are breasts supposed to sit on the stomach?? 😅🤣🙄 Big 🫂 hugs

So...Im a Nana and I actively avoid grandma type clothes! I actually liked the colors of the floral top (bright and springy), but definitely not for the price. The navy cardigan was a miss...doesn't serve the purpose of a cardigan IMO. The white top is really the only keeper.

Check back at the footage on your white blouse. The placket around the front opening looks a little cattywhompass underneath. Not straight. As a former accountant I like things straight and even.
I don't know...all of those pieces just look like stuff I would find at Marshalls for way way less. I mean, basic tops like that are not super special like a very tailored dress or pants. Is there really that much of a difference between their $59 poly blend shirt and a Marshall's $17.99 poly blend shirt? LOL

Nothing wrong with being a grandma! I hope to be one someday, but as I have heard from other "grandmas". It's great to be a grandma, but most women say they don't want to LOOK like a grandma! And honestly grandmas of today look great! Very different from years ago!
I like the floral top for "summer fun" and it looks good on you, but it's not a sophisticated look. The cardigans are a big NO! Stay away from them unless you goal is to look frumpy.

While I love light Purple, that color looks dull and doesn’t do anything for your skin. The blue cardigan looks good with the white tee and jeans. The floral looks great on you, but if you don’t feel like you, why spend the money.

Hi Francine! I have to agree, I do get a lot of polyester from Stitch Fix. As long as they aren't tight under my arms, I don't mind them most of the time. I have never seen those sheer cardigans in a style box either, but they are great to go over sundresses etc in the summer.

Im 54 years old and Im waiting on my first box. I really hope its a good one. I think you are a beautiful lady but that floral top screams old! I think we should stay away from floral prints all together. Love the white one on you. I have the upper arm problem now so Im always trying to cover them up.

The purple cardigan is most likely itchy being all acrylic. Not a fan.
I really like the sage green top. Why do they have to add elastic to the arms. Why not ties?
The navy cardigan isn't great. Sorry. It would catch on everything. It's not you, it's the sweater.

Hi Rene! You are so adorable!! And I love your style!! I mentioned in a comment to another subscriber, that recently I found pictures of my grandma's and it was crazy how much older they looked, as compared to some of my girlfriends at the same age!!

@tinasbestmidlife I'm so happy to have you in my life. I was with Henry today. Unfortunately, he's not better. He broke out in a rash on his face over the weekend. Lindsay's pediatrician thought it might have been Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease, but it's gone on too long. I think he has a sinus infection. My brother caught it too. So they're actually going at 8pm to the pediatrician.
And you are so right. Everyone looked older or was it just because we were younger and perceived them that way?? And many in our parents' generation were smokers, and sun bathers and both can really age you. All of the old Hollywood starlets looked terrible as they aged. I think I'm going to try sleeping on my head, to help with the gravity situation. Since when are breasts supposed to sit on the stomach?? 😅🤣🙄 Big 🫂 hugs
Hi, Tina. I agree that the floral top just wasn't you. It was too old. The white top was really nice. The lavender Cardigan looks like the pink one I got from Walmart this winter for way less. I think you need a shorter blue cardigan to go into spring. Have a great day!

First of all, I just have to say. I'm never quite sure what you mean by your chubby upper arms. They don't look chubby to me! And I didn't think any of these shirts made your arms look unflattering in any way. But I do understand we all have things we're sensitive about. I certainly do!
I liked the floral on you, but if you won't reach for it, it's smart to return it. 🙂

So...Im a Nana and I actively avoid grandma type clothes! I actually liked the colors of the floral top (bright and springy), but definitely not for the price. The navy cardigan was a miss...doesn't serve the purpose of a cardigan IMO. The white top is really the only keeper.

Check back at the footage on your white blouse. The placket around the front opening looks a little cattywhompass underneath. Not straight. As a former accountant I like things straight and even.

I don't know...all of those pieces just look like stuff I would find at Marshalls for way way less. I mean, basic tops like that are not super special like a very tailored dress or pants. Is there really that much of a difference between their $59 poly blend shirt and a Marshall's $17.99 poly blend shirt? LOL
I am not sure if there really is too much of a difference. I think the price points of the Stitch Fix items are a bit higher because you are paying for the service and it is fun getting a package in the mail.

Nothing wrong with being a grandma! I hope to be one someday, but as I have heard from other "grandmas". It's great to be a grandma, but most women say they don't want to LOOK like a grandma! And honestly grandmas of today look great! Very different from years ago!
I like the floral top for "summer fun" and it looks good on you, but it's not a sophisticated look.
The cardigans are a big NO! Stay away from them unless you goal is to look frumpy.
I am giggling because my poor husband sees me looking "frumpy" most of the winter! LOL! My at home lounge "uniform" is leggings, t-shirt and a longer cardigan. I am so ready for spring to wear different things!

That ivory blouse was to plain for my taste
I get it. I do just love have those 'basics" in my wardrobe. And that one was a keeper because my hubby really liked it!
While I love light Purple, that color looks dull and doesn’t do anything for your skin. The blue cardigan looks good with the white tee and jeans. The floral looks great on you, but if you don’t feel like you, why spend the money.
