Much respect for you DJ TLM!!! Your comments show that you are a true professional DJ. Plus if you are in a relationship with your soulmate staying loyal is easy, if the women are like that with you what makes you think they aren't like that with all other DJ's? A gig is a gig and I believe go out and get that money then go home to the woman who really loves you for you and the family is everything.
I'm more of a mobile DJ than a club DJ although I've done both. That being said, most mobile functions are largely (in my experience) centered around special events. Most of those events include mostly families and only a few singles. So the issue doesn't always present itself. There are some times when the alcohol is flowing and the music is setting the tone and ladies get a little friendlier but you can use this to your advantage to keep your floor filled. Remember it's a job and you are there to do it the best way (almost anyway) possible to make it a memorable event. Save yourself the stress of letting it get out of control and keep the party rocking.
Touchy subject... At the end of the day no one is perfect & we all can fall short sometimes weather its in a "Club" environment or just in regular life in general..
I'm with that. I've been with my wife for 25 years. I just started Deejaying for about 4 years. She goes on ALL and I do mean ALL club gigs with me and it makes easier on me and the relationship. You can't be accused of cheating if she's with you.
Biggest thumbs up ever on this one! If you get tired of making the DJ vids, maybe you should go into relationship advice vids! LOL!! I'm a mobile DJ, and my wife comes with to as many gigs as she can, so for me - it's not a problem. (Even is she wasn't there - not a problem!)
lol, your video topics are on point !!! greatest DJ channel on the net. keeping it real. my fiancee doesn't trip and she gets the monetary benefit as well. but I'm not in the club's on a weekly basis.
If you're tempted by other women/men in a club to the point whether you're questioning whether you should jeopardise your relationship for a bit of succ you shouldn't be in a relationship in the first place
The clubs I do so far have a pretty hefty amount of temptation, so I tend to stay on the move when Im not in the booth there. Much harder to hit a moving target if you're in a relationship lol
Well for me, I'm not that good looking of a guy and I'm a warm-up DJ so once I finish my set, I'm basically just overshadowed by the main DJs and most people don't even know i was the one that was DJing to start with anyway (not a big vocalist on the mic). I can see how it would become an issue but the question is, what is your motivation to be at the club? Is it to do a job and support the other DJs (if there are others?) or is it to get noticed by chicks. It's all mental I guess...
+RiddyOnline We get into this game for different reasons. For me, it was the love for music. For some it's strictly financial and for others it's all about fame/attention and getting girls.
djTLMtv I feel you. btw...big respect for doing what you do man. Very informative videos and you seem like a cool person overall. **ok enough buttkissing..lol** I've been DJing myself for going on close to 15 years as a hobby starting with a very unprofessional setup in university (two laptops running traktor DJ and a Peavy 3D mixer I got as a gift from my bro..lol) to the Hercules RMX -> 4MX..and my most recent purchase a Pioneer DDJ-SR. At this point (age 34)...I don't know if I'll ever actually bust out as a proper professional DJ with tons of gigs during the year but when I do go out, nothing beats playing the music you love and watching the pop that you get from a crowd of people and even other DJs that are feeling your mix.
In all honesty if your really djing ur gonna be far too occupied to notice or care about the women out at the club. U will see a good looker every so often that catches your eye but its all about the individual as you mentioned. I think an important thing for DJs especially residents or ones that play at the same place often to also not get sucked in caus you can earn a reputation and that, believe me will stick with you. I have DJ friends who are just known for sleeping with people. Its not a positive vibe. lol.- DJ Nii Out !
For me it's the same. I'm there to DJ and when I'm playing I don't have time for anything else. That doesn't mean that you couldn't be tempted before or after your set ;) For me it was never an issue though. Even when I was still single, DJ'ing was never a tool for me to get girls, but a lot of DJs use their DJ status to get p*ssy on a weekly basis :)
I understand. At first I wanted to make it clear in the title, but I didn't want a long title like: "How do you stay loyal to your partner when you spend a lot of time in a club environment" :) :)
simple just don't play where u work at... if you do that you always going to have that thot coming back to see you you never going to get rid of them and you bringing problems to your workplace... so with that being said just don't engage little flirting never hurts but taking it further than that could ruin a good gig.
+Shawn Greene Find the controller you want and then look on the brand's website to see what the minimum specifications are that your laptop needs to have
DjTLM, but after being together for a long time, two kids later what really are you waiting for to marry your lady? I think she probably have made you too comfortable in the relationship that's why you're not taking that step. Just marry her, come on.
i agree DJ mel about wife and the clubs i dj don't do alot of clubs but i get hired for the professioanl parties (christmas, new years etc for offices) so i brinkg my girlfriend to help out by passing out business cards, help promote/book me for other engagement and to stop the married but lonley women to stop flirting with me

Omg! You had me look at the title twice. Couldn't believe DGTLM advises on issues like Loyalty! Wow! You guys are one step ahead. Very good!!

That's true! Trust can't become an issue if she's there
and whats good to is if she is paying attention to you and you to her, hell your in your own world and wont notice all the other distractions
Very well said sir

DjTLM, but after being together for a long time, two kids later what really are you waiting for to marry your lady? I think she probably have made you too comfortable in the relationship that's why you're not taking that step. Just marry her, come on.
Stop DJing Clubs or Take your Wife with you.
+DJ MEL For some DJs that might not be a bad idea at all! 😄😄
djTLMtv lol
when I was last in a relationship, my girl was usually in the crowd....
i agree DJ mel about wife and the clubs i dj don't do alot of clubs but i get hired for the professioanl parties (christmas, new years etc for offices) so i brinkg my girlfriend to help out by passing out business cards, help promote/book me for other engagement and to stop the married but lonley women to stop flirting with me
