Custom Suits, and Symbiote Abilities Colors and Suits Return
We NEED DLC's
it’d be awesome if you could make your own color-ways for certain suits in the next game
Different tendril colors like red + blue also we need a dlc and they are doing a spider verse dlc along with carnage which everyone should be hyped for
I also want both Cindy,gwen,mj to all get powers and be playable for the third game I also want agent venom to be playable in the rumoured venom game that is rumoured to be releasing in 2025

We also need an option to switch between normal suits and symbiote suits like in web of shadows, because in some scenes where for instance Peter gets the black suit, it doesn’t even change at all, it just stays as the current suit I’m wearing

@@deanmoriarty6015 select the anything can be broken mission then hold the PlayStation button to leave the game quick. Close the game and come back into the save file. You should have symbiote voice lines then.

They are gone after NG+ update sadly.
I had a theory before the game released that since miles could click up on the dpad and turn invisible. Peter would probably be able to switch to symbiote suit if he clicked up on dpad. I see why they didn’t do it for story reasons. But now up on dpad does literally nothing for Peter💀it’s just an extra button

In fact, all I wanted from Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was a feature to switch between a regular suit and a symbiote suit with one button, but unfortunately this did not happen.
it would be impractical, since theres no difference between the normal suit combos and symbiote suit combos (when your in them) then itd just be another suit but quicker, in that case make the iron spider nanotech suit like that aswell, isnt that also suppose to come on you magically?

I’d love it if they added a feature to change the animations for peters parry and air traversal moves to not be iron arm or symbiote themed, like change the air jump and jump forward to Peter using his webs to quickly lift/boost himself in air, and have him create a web shield for his parry, sometimes I’d like to feel like classic spidey and the iron arms kinda breaks that feeling

Underrated needed update: The ability to play the symbiote soundtrack at all times. That music is so much more lit
You can. In audio there should be an option for soundtrack, pick Act 2 for symbiote OST.
This is something I think would be cool for the next game, or this, if they could find a way to incorporate it, imagine if instead of having designated suit color variants, you instead unlock color schemes. That way you could put whatever colors you want onto any Spider-Man suits.
For example, you unlock the iron spider suit, and with it, you get red and gold as the color scheme. Now you can plug that into the Symbiot suit and have a red and gold Symbiote.
That would add that extra level of customization that allows you to make your own version of Spider-Man.
Honestly, the only way to go further than that would be to let you choose parts from other Spider-Man suits to mash together and make your ultimate Spider-Man costume

but with the spiderverse filter, the spiderverse movies have characters look cartoonishly, and they’d probably have to make every character have a differently shaped model for every single character, i think maybe just making everything lower fps, a bit more neon, and some of those hatchlines and dots

I feel like a feature that needs to be in the game is that when you choose your abilitys you can put them at whatever slot you want like I want to be able too use symbiote bomb and punch together

we're all being too hasty. Even if CTNS came out after a month of Spiderman PS4 release, that was cuz back then we had no hack. There hasnt even been a proper recovery update towards the community. @@DarkLord-hl1fiI don’t think it would be that difficult if the button just switches out the suit and changes the parry and traversal boosts. You could select a default suit and there could be another menu to select a symbiote suit that you would swap into after pressing the button. Maybe even a loadout system which changes what abilities are there for each form.
@oliverthedum2129 that is kinda useless when they could just make it if you press it again then you change back and vice versa but there's no limit, they would need time to do it tho
Idk if this is out of the blue but I want different Spider man shooting a web sound effect. Like from the movies Tobey, Andrew and Tom’s web, If you don’t get this just look up movie clips of each of them shooting a web and listen. For some reason I like Andrew’s web shooting sound effect better.

I'm guessing the issue post update with the Surge is tied to how they stopped forcing certain suits for certain missions. If they do do another update, perhaps, either in the ability or suit menu, an ability to select a symbiote suit for surge mode, or even just mark any suit for surge mode.

on the web wings change of color idea am I the only one who thought that the arach-knight suit would have the cape become the moon shape for the webwings I think that would have been something they should have done or made an option at least.
I wish when you activate surge mode it would automatically put a suit of your choice (pre picked) then when surge ends you’d go back to the suit you were in before so it looks like you powered up or sm

I've had this idea that's similar to the changing from regular suit to symbiote suit where when you press whatever combination of buttons to switch suits, that your abilities would go from spider arms to tendrils and if you had already used one of them for spider arms and you switch to symbiote suit mid fight then it will still be used up in symbiote form.
6:55 I think the Symbiote Surge not changing you into the Symbiote Suit is only in NG+. I played on my non NG+ save file when the update came out and the Symbiote Surge still gave me the Symbiote Suit no matter what suit I had equipped. That change for NG+ was definitely done for further customization and to use the Symbiote Surge with any suit (I specifically used it a lot with the Raimi Black Suit and it looks awesome), but it would be cool to have that as a toggle instead of locking you out of it by default in NG+

I understand the people that want the symbiote suit toggle, cuz me personally thought it was compulsory considering Web of Shadows. But after beating the game numerous times, platinuming it multiple times (on different users), I have enough reason to say that this is very, highly unnecessary. And i say this b/c the suit toggle in Web of Shadows gave the suit very different combos, which is why it was super fun. But now its just the same combos, I mean Pete doesnt even talk like he has the suit on. A way they could do this (if they really absolutely wanted to) (some might not like this) is by first limiting the symbiote abilities to the black suit/symbiote suits. Remember the symbiote finishers that we got when pete was in the control of Venom, yeah those ones, they could then add those aswell to the toggle so that we would want to switch into the suit. Also remember this famous quip, "Im gunna rip u limb from limb!". Yeah, they could make peter aggresive and stuff. This is all like supper unnecessary and would ruin the flow of this game, so i certaintly luv this game how it is
And it would be very hard to add that in the game they are going to have to redesign the whole game just for that feature people don’t understand how hard it is to add these things it’s not just a magic button

I really want a crime tab like in miles morales, so you don’t have to wait for a certain crime to happen
The biggest thing I would like to see in the next quality of life update is for the navigation assist accessibility feature to be massively improved. It points you in the right direction, but you'll get stuck on a wall because it's not guiding you around obstacles so if I'm being spotted by hunters and I'm stuck on a wall, I die because I don't know where I'm supposed to go to get around that wall. Same with being chased by Symbiote Peter! MJ gets stuck on a wall because that's where the navigation assist is taking me, so I get caught! Granted I don't mind that one as much because that's one of my favorite parts of this game, so to be stuck there is fun because it's like I'm playing hide and seek, but the navigation assist needs to be improved. If I mark any side content, it will stop navigating if I get close to it. It needs to stop when I push triangle on the activity, not when I'm almost there. The screen reader and audio descriptions are phenomenal though! I was able to get my original saved file from 73% complete to 95% because the screen reader tells me when a subject is in focus with the photo opportunities so I was able to finish those. Another accessibility feature that could be useful is if there was an audio queue for generators, because the navigation assist doesn't guide you to the generator. Also I think for accessibility purposes, tether Webbs and spider bot activities need to be skippable. They're not accessible whatsoever, especially when Miles is doing his spider bot mission And you have to do all those smaller tether webs along with navigating as a spider bot. I would love if they were accessible because I love the spider bots, but I would also love if it could be skippable because I hate asking for help with them all the time. I would love an option in the pause menu to switch from Peter's Symbiote attitude to his normal attitude. When I fight crimes around the city in a black suit, I want to hear his black suit dialogue but I don't know how possible that is.
Insomniac should change the equipped ability colour too black instead of white

A request that I have is the return of the two symbiot finishers for the black suit
I would love to be able choose a suit that would show up for symbiote surge. That way I could fight with the ramie suit then symbiote surge into the black ramie suit.
I would most love the options to give every suit the symbiote traversal abilities instead of iron arms appearance, and also to switch to another chosen suit on the fly with the UP dpad button
Insomniac has done visual filters in their games before too, Ratchet and Clank rift apart is the first that comes to mind. That'd be pretty cool to have that and I FEEL like it wouldn't be hard to add, but I also got zero clue about game design/development
I feel you on the iron arms for parrying and spider jump/dash. It feels kind of goofy wearing the black raimi suit and still having the iron arms for all that

When web swinging in the black suit, it shoots out a tendril to swing on but its still a web shooter sound effect. Woulda been dope if it had a goo kinda sound rather a web shooter.
Tbh I think the idea suggesting you was saying about Peter having a more carnage optional features like the webs being red instead would be something they’ll probably include with new suits n customization options when the DLC’s drop

If you play in your original slot, it still changes the suit for surge if you're not in a mission.

For msm3, we definitely need a feature to make our own suits by unlocking suits insomniac made for parts and after you reach a certain part in act 3, you make a new suit to defeat the main villain and the suit you make your own suit from the parts you unlock, and if you don't have any for some reason, it would have one for you
So this might be a long shot but i think insomnicac could add this:
Insomniac should add an option to change both the symbiote suits and classic suits to whatever you like.
For example: if you have the raimi suit as your classic suit and you want the symbiote surge suit to be raimi's black suit then you can change it to that or whatever you like such as the classic black suit.

For example when I am on classic raimi suit I want the surge to be the black variant
When you use the symbiote surge with the black tendrils, it sounds like you are using the anti venom suit when you hit them normally unless you use your ability’s than it sounds like symbiote suit. I wish it would be like that all the time regardless of if you use your ability’s or not with the black tendrils.
When they said that we’d be able to change tendril colours I was imagining that we could have the tendril colour match the colour of any suit that we choose to put on, not just simply being able to switch between black or white tendrils. Though I admit that’s probably quite a lot to ask for just with the sheer crazy amount of suits and suit colours in the game just for Peter alone. This isn’t necessarily a demand or something I need but it’d certainly be a pretty cool additional feature to have included in the game.

I also want to have the ability to change the color of the Spider-Arms. That Green Spider-Arms is really amazing to look at
For this one 6:07 (the suit change between normal to black) they should have it to where you can pick which symbiote suit you can turn into like if I want to be the Classic Black Suit and toggle that it would be incredibly dope
My annoyance is that whenever you change to a spiderverse suit it always turns on the 30fps animation style. Just let me keep it off cuz it’s annoying lol.

We need the raimi black suit to be a “real” symbiote ingame, when you put any other symbiote, the HUD turns blue, with raimi one stills Orange, and that makes for example the symbiote finishers not able to do in the ng+
This isn’t really a feature but more of a suit update. Miles Classic suit has these white/orange dots on both spider symbols and his eyes lenses whenever he uses his venom powers old and new
For the Symbiote Surge I think it's intentional...New Game still has it changing to Black or Anti-Venom Suit. New Game+ it remains whatever suit you got on.
Comic styles for suits like an 2014 Olivier Coipel comic style for the classic suit, more Insomniac original designs.
I’ve been able to parry with the iron arms after the end game just by using an iron arm ability
I just want two things fixed:
1. When I change to Spider-Verse suits, it automatically enables the Spider-Verse animation style and I have to go all the way through the Settings to change it back.
2. I prefer to use the White Symbiote as my Anti-Venom one, since Anti-Venom looks kinda fake to me compared to the Symbiote design, but even with the white Style it has black webs, I tried changing it to "Story" from the Settings but it doesn't work, so if they just made it so that the tendrils and the web automatically matched the Suit and the Style color it would be better imo.
Also, they could map a feature to change to a Symbiote Suit on the fly to the D-Pad Up button, since Miles already has his invisibilty mapped to it, and I believe Peter won't want to use AV all the time (if at all) in the future, it would make sense if he just "toggled" it (he could even have it "transferred in the White Spider logo in his regular suit, giving it much more meaning and building up from the time he decided to put it in the first game).
They should add a secondary suit option specific to Symbiot scenes so that whenever you transform or take off the symbiot, you're wearing a different suit (the one you chose) if that makes sense... this could also work for Surge mode
I want the abilities to be tied to the focus bar and increase focus gain, like in MM and SM1. Just give focus when you parry, also the where is the option to remove some of theHUD. I play with HUD off but I really just want to remove the Map and My abilities with health. Pls fix this insomniac . Another thing I want is to fix the roll when you land on the ground. I’d like to keep jumping without rolling and I want to maintain the momentum when traversing and I use the super jump, also can we increase run speed. We need a quality of life update for traversal make things a bit more smooth for Peter.
There are so many new updates coming to this game that will make it a spectacle
They should attach rage mode to certain suits in the game, such as the regular one. You get in the game to go to the regular black & white and the same rainy suit to go to the black suit from the movies.
Caboose done took the words right outta my mouth. I was just gonna mention the parry animation cause it’s real crazy that we can’t switch back to the iron arms once we beaten the game.

I know there are some people that want to be able to use symbiote abilities with Miles when he wears his symbiote suits. They most likely won’t since that would change Miles too much but I have an idea. In his game, if you wore the Bodega Cat suit or the Programable matter suit, you got a special finisher for each one. What if they did the same for Miles symbiote suits.
I think they should remove the symbiote suits from Miles side and give them to Peter!
Similarly i think the Kumo suit and Spider-Punk should go to Miles side.
(I mean seriously, there's a guy who blasts lightning from his hands and they give the DBZ inspired suit to the guy with goo powers?)
@@Coreisus That wouldn't make a lot of sense, considering both the Dark Ages and Maximum Carnage suits both belong to Miles in comic lines.
As for the King in Black suit, I'm not sure if it's a preexisting concept, but at it's core it's a huge reference to Knull, so what they could've done was give us two rewards for completing the Symbiote Nests, which would've given us a suit for Peter and Miles.
The more recent Ratchet and Clank games had different filters you could apply to the world so I’m sure Insomniac can do the same for Spider-Man 2 if they really wanted to.
Just as you can fight with each other in random crimes, there should be times where they get to swing with each other and do tricks in the air together.
I hope insomniac adds the ability for the player to choose to use the standard white webs while wearing a black/alien suit in the next update, similar to the update that permitted the changing of the colors of the tendrils.
Im hoping with a carnage dlc that Miles possibly gets some symbiote abilities (not just re-colors of Peters) OR they let us choose red for Peters tendril colors (even if he doesnt get the carnage symbiote in the story, just for fun customization). I think my mostly requested features are purely customization, like choose which parry we use between iron arms and tendrils, same with the jump/dash. And being able to change the weather, and possibly switch the city back to symbiote invasion look. Also if possible let us choose to switch Peters dialogue to angry symbiote dialogue post game. My highest requested feature tho is the ability to swap to a symbiote suit with the press of a button, even if its only cosmetic. But if they didnt want it to be just cosmetic they could set it up so you can have a 2nd ability preset on Peter, and swapping suits lets you swap to that other preset. Obviously i dont expect this ALL to happen, but any of it would be nice to see. (Also let us choose which symbiote suit we go to in symbiote surge, forgot to put this)
The symbiote suit switch could be binded to up on the D-pad since for miles it’s his camo and for Peter it’s unbundled :p
For either a future update, or spiderman 3 would be every suit having styles, including the movie suits.
One thing I think would be cool is to have eye animation for more suits. But I understand if that's too tedious though.
I know it’s kinda not talked about but I hope they add like a just for design purposes Blue Tendrils as well. Which would be the same color as that one design for the anti venom suit. It would just make it more fun to use that suit if we didn’t have to use white in order for it to be immersive with that one in particular.
They need to add a shortcut option to switch from the regular suit to the symbiote suit pls for the love of god😢
I would like the option to change the Symbiote Surge suit, so that for example you could change from the Raimi Suit into the Symbiote Raimi Suit when using it
Was honestly hoping all of those things would be added when the game first dropped. Considering they had these abilities in a previous spiderman game
this game is 2 times bigger and a lot of stuff is remade from the ground up
@White_Knight_Real ok what's your point lol. Was talking about the stuff caboose mentioned. I was stating that since these things were in previous spiderman games they should've been implemented in this new one to begin with.
I think they should make symbiote finshers more frequent because i haven't seen 1 symbiote finisher while playing NG+ in a symbiote costume. Also they should give miles's symbiote costumes symbiote finishers as well I think that would be sick.
An option to tendrills with a iron arms option would be great. In new game plus the super ability is locked into one of the two symbiotes but you can no longer use the iron arms as the super ability you can only transform into venom or anti venom. But ive wanted to use the iron arms instead. I can equip the 4 iron arm abilities but not an iron arms super ability.
I wish they’d fix it to where if you had a symbiote suit on, and shot a web line, the webbing would be black as well instead of white
Bro I REALLY want a custom suit maker in the next game. It’d be hard probably.. but it would make sense. If it had a scene like in the first 2 where they build a suit and then you make it during that and it shows that badass clip with YOUR suit.
I thought parry depended on the abilities you had equipped, whether if it was all iron arms or all symbiote. Then that would correspond to what your parry would be.
I would love to see a “ bully Maguire” mode in NG+ where all of peters free roam quips are replaced with his angry voice lines from when the Symbiont started corrupting him. It would be difficult to implement because Yuri Loewenthal would need to record a bunch of new lines but man it would be fun to spend more time as evil Peter. I enjoyed the story,l as a whole, but I definitely felt like we didn’t get enough time with angry Peter so I’d love the ability to play as him for longer.
Caboose in the leaks for the DLC they said that filter will actually be a thing! In the final DLC for this game after Carnage.
i found that having no symbiote abilities equipped will make you parry with the arms instead of tendrils, haven’t tried it since new game plus tho

I want with Black symbiote agressive abbilities where Peter have better emotions like on respekt missions or a change dialog
