My problem is about the teachers who were groomed with the 19th century education to be impacted onto the children. Are there plans to upgrade these teachers to suite the 21st century academic pathways?
If dollar to Ghana cedis rate was anything to go by then it's ironical that under NDC we slept under doomso for 4 years, nurses and teachers allowances were disbanded, workers that had worked over a year were paid three months salary and many abysmally poor performance at 4 cedis per dollar and NPP under a dollar rate of 17 ghc per dollar, we have never been under doomso for almost 8 years, nurses and teachers allowances are restored, free SHS, all salaries are fully paid and so many unprecedented development in Ghana, then the dollar rate is not all that it is about development and nation building. We must rethink about what constitute the fundamentals required for nation building. Dr Bawumia's manifesto seems more promising and pragmatic to me.
