The Checo signing is easy to understand when you remember F1 is a business......he leads all other drivers in sponsorship money, so as long as he is bringing in the sponsors, he'll always have a seat

Its about how much money you bring through the sponsorship and checo have a lot sponsors that he can provide 70% plus money for the development of car and let max win the WDC . In this way red bull always be on top of the table .

@@InternetUser73Checo is backed by the Mexican government, I think we know the size package as I'm sure it's used to pay his wages as well.
The gap probably depends on how many personal brands Lewis/Max has.

Honestly, I think after that terrible crash in Monaco, I feel like it’s very Horner to extend that to ease some stress off of checo for further races.

Checo is a very good driver and team player. He is the only one drive that redbull has had, that can stand the pressure of Max, in a team building around him. Also the penalty he has received it's because the team order him to continue in order to not deploy a safety car. And their team confess it categorically. For those who talk about sales of redbull, the biggest places where they sell redbull is China and India... I don't think Checo influence's reaches that far. Also Checo it's "old", he knows that he has not so many more years in F1, and Redbull too, it's like an old marriage and so

Checo was justifiable when he was still p2 in the wdc regardless of how he was doing relative to verstappen, but this is inexcusable
yep, even when Merc weren't as dominant Bottas still got into Q3.
You just can't repeatedly keep getting knocked out in Q1 when your rivals are almost level.
All the people saying “Checo brings in money with merch” or something along those lines, that does not make sense because Checo could cause Red Bull to not win the Constructors and they would lose much more

You can't really say that Jacque is wrong about Ricciardo.
While that might be true on some weekends , Jacque always had a hate boner for Ricciardo going back as early as Danny’s Renault days . Apart from that , it’s still extremely unprofessional for a commentator to say someone doesn’t deserve a seat in F1 . The fact that he has a WDC doesn’t give him the right to belittle other drivers , considering his career was also a shit show (and his WDC was in a car that was soo good , even Stroll could’ve won the WDC)
