I wouldn't say you fall, there's always a clip attached to the course, so you are just dangling in arms reach of the spot you lost your balance from. It doesn't hurt either, you are supported by the harness (same dangling feeling from the zipline, or if you ever did the plastic climbing walls at fairs). I will say, the first time up there butterflies or nervousness is very normal...there's a quick instructional class with video and a close to ground course to get the feel for it. There's staff everywhere to help, and you are well supported and safe. People on the course are usually kind and supportive too, it's all good fun!
