Yeah it definitely seems weak compared to past generations. Pitaka have said they’ve acknowledged the strength needs updating and apparently are gong to update it
@@LukeTechReviews What will happen to the buyers who already bought it for S24 Ultra ? Pitaka is notngoing to give free replacement even if they update the magnet in the upcoming cases.
@@LukeTechReviews Honestly Pitaka is paying more attention to ads and promotions rather than the product itself now a days. They also made the S24 series cases covering just half of the sides which was completely unnecessary when the edges of the S24 Ultra is now flat unlike previous years. Just made the colour good looking and then releasing the cases. The feedback was last year itself given to them by large that the magnet has become way weaker than before but they ignored completely.
I tried this case on the S24 and found the material to be too slippery. Plus, as others have been pointing out, the magsafe strength did not inspire confidence. I tried the grip as well, and I found it to not only slip off without much force but also to be quite uncomfortable to hold the phone with.
@@LukeTechReviews That's the logic they use when they price these cases. But the production cost of this case wouldn't be any more than the production cost of a much older phone case. Not to mention, this phone provides almost no protection. It's just a very thin shell that doesn't even protect the sides or the front but looks really sleek. You can find the same type of cases on ali much cheaper. I couldn't find this exact "sunset" design, but the case design is identical.
The magnet was really strong in the Galaxy S22 series Pitaka cases, but in the S23 series and now in the S24 series the maget is pretty weak.

Not sure bud you’d have to see if a new one actually gets released and then contact them

Very nice case..Although you can't use the Spen with the ring on the back
Good tip! Seems there's quite a few problems with magnets affecting the use of the S-Pen
seen a handful of the reviews of this case and magsafe seems really weak overall compared to other ones??
Yeah it's been fine for me in the car, but I wouldn't trust it using the Mag EZ Grip if I was outside using it
Great video. Keep up the good work! 🔥
Thank you 🙏
I dont like that it doesn't cover the sides of the screen...
Yeah it’s certainly not a protective case. Ideally, I’d love this case, but with the sides and buttons covered - That would be perfect!

I want to know how they justify the price lol
Great video mate, very informative
Thanks mate!
Awesome video mate!
Thanks mate!
Great looking case....too bad about the price lol
Yeah great case, but if you’re spending £1200 on a phone, I suppose a little bit more on a good case makes sense lol
