I used to play my violin in a trio with a pianist and cellist friend. For 12 years we met on a weekly basis . With time moving on, things change and people change. The pianist in our trio passed away and my dear cellist friend is ill and moved to another state to be close to her son. This wonderful Salute deAmour music by Edward Elgar was one of the pieces we played a lot and was one of my favorites! I hope to find another pianist and cellist in order to make trio music again and play this wonderful Salut d' Amour.. Thank you Antonio Castagna for your lovely performance of this special music! E

Un pezzo del 1888, dallo stile innegabilmente romantico. Entriamo in questa musica come entriamo in una chiesa. Soprattutto da quando ho appena letto che Edward Elgar lo ha regalato alla sua futura moglie come regalo di nozze. Sono sempre sensibile alla tua delicata interpretazione. Ogni volta che le tue dita corrono sulla tastiera, puoi sentire la sottigliezza della digitazione. Sei davvero molto bravo Antonio. Pollice su 28 !! LyDia ♫♪♫

Cette pièce de Edward Elgar "un compositeur que je ne connais que si peu", est un petit bijou de tendresse et de raffinement. Ton interprétation fine et nuancée, véhicule si bien ce "Salut d'Amour", qu'il semble que tu écrives ce message vers une belle ingénue, en utilisant tes mains comme des plumes rédigeant autant de beaux mots. Une pure merveille, que je viens de savourer, et dont je te remercie. Bravo mon ami, et très belle soirée à toi.

Ciao Antonio, leggo con molto interesse la breve biografia di Sir Edward William Elgar e ascolto questa meravigliosa composizione che hai eseguito magistralmente al pianoforte.
Immagino che al suo tempo sia stato un precursore e abbia compreso quello che poteva dare la musica registrata nel senso di diffusione al vasto pubblico. Devo ammettere che aveva visto bene dato l'evoluzione poi che ha portato negli ultimi anni . Grazie per aver condiviso questa opera.
