For spray painting get an air compressor and spray gun with gravity feed. also probably need thinning down either with water or thinners. But an air compressor is handy to have anyway.
😍More Progress !😍
Like the monkey said when they cut off his tail .." It won't be long now ! " 😂gigglesnortgiggle
Epic Thumbs Up ! 👍
😇❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
😂😂 I love this!! Thank you so much 🥰🙏
Hi Jas,
Great progress again this week, well done.
An idea for getting the sheets up solo,
If you have a long straight ladder strapped to the under side, you could use the ladder rungs to lift the sheets to the roof without them bending, once the ladder is at roof height, release the straps and slide the sheet up the ladder, could also use long flat plank of wood instead of ladder.
I hope you listened to TOOL...
Decay Melbourne Australia
I really like your thumbnail selections and the happy attitude while doing what you love. Keep having a great life.
Jasmin why of use a 4 inch roller to paint our rafters
Hold the roof sheets curled with three straps 👍
You’ll be able to catch a lot of rain water off that roof. So big, i love it.
Yess I definitely will hey 😍 thank you!
man it looks so nice you have a slice of heaven there.
It really is hey 😍 thank you!
Happy Sunday Y'all! Good morning Jasmin 🥰🥰🥰
Good morning to you 🥰👋 enjoy and have a lovely Sunday 🙏
Greetings 👋😃 Jasmin. How is you doing recently with your experience of building?
Hi Jas
WOW that's amazing progress this week and it looks brilliant.
I love seeing you walking around in your shorts and sun top you look beautiful but please be careful and when its needed wear protective clothing even if you take it on and off you will be safer 🙏🙏
I have been silly in the past and have the scars to prove it and i really don't think you want any of them.
Looking forward to seeing you put the panels up, i think you may need a hand with them.
Take care and enjoy your own little family ❤❣️🛠️🔩💪💪 xxx
I'm well aware it's too late now but for next time try using a board or branch to lift the ends of the pipe up. It works great for long heavy boards or drywall as well. If you use a long branch try to use one with a Y end and make a T if using a board.
you wore too much paint to finish :) jk. Dads are the best to help shave time, but not subvert ability. Thank you for documenting your adventure and self discovery
Love your hard work. Be careful with any ivy. They are very invasive once growing. And very hard to get rid of when they over grow.
When you go to buy the roofing Summer by ropes in ratchet straps as well you will need it
You know there is a guy in Alaska he is like you he living alone up there building a house he lives with a dog and cat he is so much like you (Gettin’ Off Grid) is his channel when he build something he dances like you do hahah so funny i thought i tell you about this guy you both a like
Was wondering why you didn't bolt the upper roof parts together like you bolted the poles to the containers? So if you needed to repair something it could be unbolted instead of cut apart.
I'm a bit concerned that spans for those roof sheets are too far apart and may buckle if you stand in the middle of them.
Last week you said something about the timber posts you cut for your floors the timber is ok were it is just as long as there is no termites in them because the longer they sit there and dry the better it will be for you in the long run
Yeah dont buy those weekend warrior spayers. Wagner sprayers are crap. And not made for use with the paints and primers you are using. Get an air spayer with an automotive spray gun. And please wear a respirator when spraying paints or priners!
Nice work, again. Please buy a winch.😊
If you have long enough ropes tie around the ends of the sheet(s) and possibly middle, then use car (as a winch or even better get a boat winch on the other side of the containers to pull a few sheets up to top most shed, then can drag them around on the rafters. The only issue is the wind can pick those things up so easily too, need some heavy bits of wood or some bricks to keep the sheets from flying off while you try and sort them out and screw them down.
White until you start with that roofing before you say that was the hottest thing I did
I would have put it in the center beam then pulled it in place
Don't burn yourself out 💪💪
Awesome work Jas, WonderWoman has nothing on you. Look forward to see what you do next week.
Thank you so much! Yes getting the sheets up will certainly be interesting 😂🙏
You are a one woman, building machine.so productive.everything you do is impressive.just continue doing what you do best.be safe.place is taking shape.next.😎😎😎👍👍👍

Hey hey! Great Thank you 🙏
Jasmine love watching you’re progress very inspirational
Thank you so much! It’s so great to look at now and see it start to come together 😍

Great job , truly impressive work doing this by yourself
Thank you so much ☺️ 🙏
So enjoying your Build Jass!
Your dedication and willingness to learn on the job is awesomely impressive 👏👏👏
Nothing too difficult for you!
Thank you so much! It’s been a learning curve but in the best way, it’s so exciting to see it come to life and to know I’ve done it myself ☺️🙏
Your dad is awesome. You're very blessed to have such a wonderful dad.
When i saw the size of those roof sheets i put my head in my hands and thought wth!! HOW!! 😕😕😕How is she going to do this. 🤣🤣🤣 But knowing you as the trooper you are you will work it out Ms Independent!!
Cant the roof sheet get a fresh coat of paint like everything else. You surely cant have everything painted except for the roof. That would do my OCD in.
Looking for ward to next week. Im wishing you the biggest luck this week. I think youll need it.
Thank you so much and yess he’s such a legend!
😂 they are so bloody massive hey but I’ll get them up there ☺️💪
Nah honestly from a distance you can’t even tell definitely worth savings $500-$1000 for me anyway ☺️🙌
Must be rewarding as hell to see what you've achieved already.. Stoked as for you..
Yess! It’s so incredible to stand back and look at now , I can see the vision turning into reality 😍🙏
Your a machine! Awesome work muscles! Love your positive attitude and big smile. Makes me smile...and dance a little every Sunday. 😊. Loving the tunes too! Keep updating us all. Bless your dad. Bless your heart too. You rock! ❤️😁
Thank you so much! Definitely put my muscles to the test this week and my brain hopefully this week to get these sheets up 😂🙏 have a lovely week ☺️🙏
Hi jaz thanks for a bit of suprise ACDC and a productive vid
Got to love a bit of ACDC and thank you 🙏🙌
Thinking that you should have had your living area upstairs!!!
That’s what the big deck is for 😍
Great work Jas, when you are putting material up on the roof, use your clamps as a stop guide to stop it sliding downhill and off the roof. Getting the roofing on the top will be difficult unless you have access to a Telehandler or lift of some kind. Best of luck!
Thank you so much 🙏
Absolutely brilliant ...its amaising what a person can do with some dedication and hard work!!!!!! Love you for this if i may say so!!
It is isn’t it! I was shocked with myself 😂 thank you so very much 🥰🙏
Construction crossfit workout with a little danger. Good job raising the roof. Looking good.
😂 yep I could do sessions , thank you so much 🙌
Another weekend with achievements great progress Jasmine, hey dads are good, I'm one too. Your dad must be proud.😊
Thank you so much! It’s really getting there 💪 and he really is ☺️
You have done it again!! Congratulations on your progress this week. Looking forward to next week 😊
Thank you so much! Now the real challenge of getting the sheets up! Haha I’ll see you there have a great week ☺️🙏
I live in Missouri, US...Got ya on the rain thing, so much to do here before winter, all needs to be dry!!! Love it!
Yess I’m with you! 🙌🙌
Hey Jas make sure your vent on the spray pot is not blocked as this will stop you from spraying ….. great going again this week 👍
Thank you so much ☺️ 🙏
Beautiful morning with coffee and this Beautiful Soul, gonna be a great day!
Aw thank you so much! Please enjoy and have the best day ☺️🌻
Hey Jas. Try curling the roof sheets lengthwise to keep them rigid when moving them. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much ☺️🙏
You are just slamming this girl, just getting so much done and so quickly. Good on you, you can hire yourself out once yours is done. LOL. Great job. Take care and see you next week. 🥰
😂😂 I can too with these muscles , thank you so much and you too 🥰🙏
Great stuff Jasmin you give me nice warm Sunday morning feelings here in the cooling September UK. Be careful handling those corrugated sheets they could do you some damage girl xx
Thank you so much! And hopefully more sunny days! ☺️🙌
What a lovely day to get work done on the roof beams and painted, so lucky to have your Dad bring you a new paint sprayer ❤
The garden is going to be beautiful when you’re finished.😊
It was!! 🥰 he’s an absolute legend! Thank you I hope so ☺️🙏
Mighty mighty effort on getting the beams up you'll have muscles on your muscles 😅Definitely a Jas lil happy dance was called for. Job well done. Bummer on the spray gun but just a minor hiccup Onya Dad 🎉 Another awesome video and I presume all the editing would be time consuming too so big congrats on what you present every week. Absolute Superstar!!! Cya next Sunday and btw loved hearing some AC⚡DC in there 😅 Take care stay well 😊✌
Thank you so much! It was definitely one of my biggest jobs 🥵 I know right he’s a bloody legend! Got to love the ACDC , editing takes forever it’s crazy! But I love sharing my week with you all ☺️🙏
Hey yo I tune in every Sunday night
Great inspiration , I realy like your energy and can’t wait to see how u get on every weekend, cheers
Hey !! Thank you for joining me every week! ☺️ I’m so glad you’re enjoying the journey! This week was definitely a mission 🥵
100% Solar Powered Jas. the upper body workout this week must have been insane. im also going to need your roofing spotify playlist please Jas. there are some absolute tunes on there.
😂😂 yes you’re not wrong, the sun comes out and I’m full power! 🙌 it really was though! And definitely some bangers hey ☺️🙏
Asking local arborist if they can give you wood chip can work. It's a great way to get organic material in for establishing new growing systems
That’s a great idea! Thank you 🙏
Gday Jaz. Your dad is the best, what a legend. Good luck with the roof sheets, i was putting up 3.2 fence sheets, and that was hard enough!!
Hey hey! Yeah he’s a bloody legend, thank you it’s honestly going to be such a challenge but I think I’ve got a little plan 😝🙏
Keep up the great work I am 61 and I like to lift heavy things but I think you would put me to shame keep going
😂 thank you so much it’s definitely becoming a new hobby 😝💪
G’day Jasmin,
I know it’s all the small things and it’s a long way to the top, but just remember you have the power because you’re a girl from down under haha!!
With all that rain coming in, you’ll have to do some more inside work. It’ll give you time to work out how on earth are you going to get those long ass roofing sheets up !!
I’m keen to see how you do it.
The garden is coming up sweet, spring time has really helped out.
Your dad’s a legend, you’ll have to convince him to say hello on camera haha!!
Have a good one,
Cheers mouse
Hey Mouse!
😂😂 I see what you did there and I love it very clever 😝
Yeah honestly this one is going to be a massive challenge but I think I have a little plan that I’ll try put in place tomorrow , fingers crossed!
I’m trying ! Thank you so much ☺️🙏 have a great week!
I can visualize the roof finished its going to be awesome well done and please keep being safe. When I bought my first hobby farm it backed onto a state forest and the roos where everywhere i loved it, but i did have to build a very high enclosed fence around my vege garden and fence wrap my fruit trees. Hope the heavy rain didn't do any damage.
Thank you! And wow that sounds beautiful, they are gorgeous hey but they love your gardens 😂🙏
hi there.
i have a question, are you going to introduce fish into the pond?
have a great day and your house looks awesome :)
Hey hey! I will be in the future when I’ve finished the water system so I can guarantee water for them year round ☺️🙏
Well done you, thats not an easy job,we love you're positivity, x
Thank you so much! It definitely was a tough one! Now for the next challenge of getting the sheets up 🥵🙏
You are truly amazing. Thank you for bringing us along on your building journey
It’s my absolute pleasure! It makes me so happy you’re enjoying it ☺️🙏
Yu done real good with the roof beams, now yu gonna have some real fun gettin the tin up in one peice.
All the best with that.
😂😂 I know right, this is the real challenge
You have the best attitude of everyday life! Wish you the best, God bless
Thank you that’s so nice of you ☺️🙏
I'm invested in this series. Never stop uploading
I never will💪🙏 thank you so much!
You need to clean the spray gun after use, not even leave it for quarter hour - thats my limited experience of them
I have been, but this one was just overheating for some reason, the new one works sooo well though ☺️🙌🙌
you rock girl sucks bout the spray gun then the paint running out
😂 I know hey always something! Thank you!
Hi your doing an amazing job on the homestead 👋👍
Thank you so much ☺️
Why not get a pump for the pond for your pressure washer?
It’s way too far away
Lol about as Aussie as it gets...I need to go eat a big tucker
😂😂 nothing like a good tucker
Yr just an absolute inspiration, u go girl
Thank you so very much! This week sure was a tough one 🥵💪
My fav time of the week 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 the containers look so good once waterproofed 😍 I tried the electric sprayers (they die so quick) if you can get a spray gun on a compressor you’re laughing 🫶🏻 (I’m just not sure of the power capabilities… will you have power eventually or going solar?
Aww thank you so much! And I actually have one but it’s way to big to carry up into the containers 😂 it also wastes sooo much paint so I prefer the little one for little jobs , and sure am ☺️🙏
My goto girl on a Sunday. :love your attitude !
Aww I love this thank you! Have the best day ☺️🙏
Looking the goods girlfriend
Thank you so much ☺️
you are unbelievable, well done.
Thank you so much!
You’re doing a great job mate
Thank you so much! ☺️
Wow! 🤩.
Honestly gobsmacked that you got those beams in place, I mean I would never doubt your grit and determination but that’s seriously bloody impressive!
Your garden is amazing, how in the name of Banjo Patterson’s beard did you manage to do all that as well??
And yeah you’re definitely going to need a winch, or block and tackle to get those sheets up there
Hope your Nan had an awesome birthday
Love Your Work 🧡
I know right I’m pretty shocked with myself too 😂 I’ve never been that exhausted before either wow!
😂😂 I just never sleep , but it’s looking good hey I’m going to try get the most out of spring! ☺️🙏
@@Building.a.Dream-Barefoot_Jas yeah who would have guessed throwing big bits of steel around, way over your head would tire you out ?
And yeah sleep is overrated I reckon.
Its gonna be massive 😮😮
Yesss 😍🙏
Hi hi hi🙂. Happy Sunday 👍🇳🇱
Hey hey 👋🌻 happy Sunday and enjoy 🙏
Good morning capable lady! ..can we see some gay packet plans that help us envisage build plans better as you go please!?
Love the videos but am left wondering for this element of the build as to end game.
🙏👩🔧😘
Morning!
I’m going to be showing some rough draw ups I’ve done in an upcoming video ☺️🙏 my actual building plans are just Birds Eye’s view and don’t show anything and to be honest I still haven’t really picked a design I’ve never indecisive 😂 but think jarrah, stone, and older nature style 😍🙏
@@Building.a.Dream-Barefoot_Jas Appreciated Jas, yeah, more the architecture of the exterior based on the work in the last few roof build videos, what is the orientation etc? & cladding plans sort of thing for weather proofing, semi open air , shaded space (*cough* solar butted together to collect water & provide shade / cooling for the upper area to suck cool air into? ...I just don't know ...but I want to, if you are going to have a rooftop gravity fed how water tank or similar so utilities can be accessed rather than in cramped cupboard space etc.
For more "feature" inclined schmutter, then consider galvanised gabion baskets to either surround metal poles or to raise & protect wood , IF river stone is available, & affordable & truckable, gabions come in all sizes. also might work for raised fencing latterly, was miffed about the garden getting eaten, at this stage I would recommend a few raised beds with fencing access so they get a chance to grow then transfer when big enough to cope rather than succulent groundshoot nibbles. Wooden trugs some 24 inches high 5 ft wide sort of thing, pole uprights that lock (like a tent frame) & can be removed / rolled back so you can cosset them. ideal time to put in a drip feed cable & limit evaporation with a refillable butt for if you are away for any length of time with young plants. a simple microbore, & mulch so it is easy to dig out & not sever via a "whoops" moment. love animals but their presence in a garden means max security growing area.
IF you use a fine mesh panel (for instance) paint some black as a test, it is a lot more visible, & Might act as more of a deterrent to animals (as the light reflection pattern changes) saw someone do this with an aviary, the dirds behind the wire suddenly "popped" into view.
goodluck with the sheets 💪. looking forward to the next vid . with lot's of sun ;)
I think I’ve got a little plan 😝 and yess to sunny days!!! ☺️🙌
@@Building.a.Dream-Barefoot_Jas what is the little plan ?🤏. made me curios cant wait to c that plan next week
110% love your work , hows your bluetti holding up , be very careful lifting them roof sheets up , a bit of wind and they go off like a kite
Thank you so much!! Bluetti is actually my saving grace I love it so much! But I want more! 😂 and yesss I think I’ve got a good plan worked out now I’ll put it to the test tomorrow 🥵
@@Building.a.Dream-Barefoot_Jas check out the new bluetti dc -dc car chargers , 560w of charging power , also can i ask what location is this property , northern nsw? , just asking cause im looking for a bit of land right now myself for a tiny home around tenterfield - drake area
You are a machine! 💪 It's looking so damn good. Awesome job Jas and as always thankyou for taking us along! 😁
It’s my pleasure , it’s getting exciting and now I just have to pray my plan works to get these sheets up 😂🙏
I can't wait to see this plan in action 🤞
i hope you keep doing videos after you finish this build!
I most definitely will, I took have two tiny houses to build 🥵🙏
@@Building.a.Dream-Barefoot_Jas oh my you do like a challenge!

Another great video,& a massive happy birthday to Nanna 🎉🍻💕👌
They are really growing hey 😂 thank you it does look great and not yet, not until I have finished the system so I can guarantee water for them year round , and she had a great day thank you 🥰🙏
@@Building.a.Dream-Barefoot_Jas 💕🙏
That's awesome 😎 hey Jas,I'm just starting a camping channel myself...Any tips or pointers you might have would be greatly appreciated 🙏👌
awesome as always
Thank you! ☺️
Nice job girl
Thank you so much! It’s wasn’t easy 🥵
Get a pair of the SÜK shorts, made in Melbs.
They don’t fit me 😫
Ohh actually I’ve just looked I thought they only had size 8 but they have 4 too!
A roller would have probably been a quicker and cost effective solution to paint the beams and roof?
😂 would take some serious acrobatic ability to do it with a roller 😝
And can’t do the roof because of the corrugation I tried with the roller ☺️🙌
@@Building.a.Dream-Barefoot_Jas mostly for the beams and posts - also can put on poles as how people do their ceilings, unless you got a pretty good spray rig which is more affordable these days but in the past old 1 foot roller and load up with paint (for ceiling).
🥳🥳🥳🥰😎
