Both are fellowship for phd and jrf but rgnf for ST/SC both and NFSC is only for SC Students . Nfsc has large amount of fellowship and rgnf has less amount of fellowship. If you got NFSC CERTIFICATE then apply it in your institution.
@@netwalabhaiya You forget to mention important point: 1) For RGNF one have to fill form but NFSC no need to fill form. 2) RGNF requirement is one must dont have any fellowship only msc qualified and fulltime commitment for Phd where as NFSC student dont have to fill any form . CSIR by itself release list based on merit and conducting body is NFSC. 3) This YEAR (2023-2024 ) NFSC SELECTED STUDENTS ARE 604 And NFST SELECTED STUDENTS ARE 750 Clearly there is a difference in NFSC AND NFST. In short NFSC AND NFST are modified versions of RGNF with more filters which didn't exist before. NFSC,NFST>RGNF ( In terms of Merit )
