- Light My Fire taken from the 45RPM Analogue Productions reissue of The Doors' self titled debut album.
Recording digitised using the following equipment:
Turntable: Technics SL-1200G
Cartridge: Audio Technica ART9
Amplifier: Devialet Expert Pro 440
Direct USB connection from the audio system into a MacBook Pro.
No audio manipulation whatsoever, this is straight from the vinyl and on to the finished video.

Great sounding recording . I like that you use the Technics 1200 G as I believe its a close to perfect record player without all the complications of some others. The cartridge and amp setups you use are way beyond anything I would get hear normally. Thank you.

doesnt the youtube audio codec rob allot of quality ?
It depends!
For the best quality use Chrome and set the resolution to 4K (assuming your equipment supports it) - that uses the Opus audio codec. Using Safari even at 4K it uses mp4 - Opus definitely sounds better.
