It amazes me that today were EDC is such a big money maker for companies that leatherman just seem to be going in the wrong direction.
Small compact pocket friendly tools like the juice are what consumers want.
So it seems these cheap Chinese tool will be taking a big chunk of leathermans profits.
Wow! I wonder when the fake mini’s started hitting the market!? I can remember the mini coming out around the mid 90’s. My original PST that I bought in the 80’s when they came out, was stolen in the mid 90’s, so I immediately went to my favorite sporting goods store and replaced it, and that’s when I saw they had a mini, as well as the Super Tool, and bought those as well. As much as it sucks to have your design and product copied, I guess it’s sort of an weird honor to know that your product is cool enough for someone to wanna rip off your idea.
Where did you get the fake one?
I found it on Ebay. I am not sure where one can be found new. I have heard about these floating around but my first time seeing one for sale.

By the way how did your Leatherman 300 turn out? Did the rust spots go away?
@@hvacbudget8600 good, thank you for asking. I soaked it another day in the vinegar bath, two full days. It was speckled surface rust, thought it would come off easier but no problem. Did you happen to order a Gerber Dual force? Maxlvledc has a video with information it may come down to $79 in the future. He posted it a few months back.
@@richardsullivan1776 I did. I got notified it shipped yesterday. I wanted to get it as soon as possible to review, otherwise I would have waited.

I haven't put down my Super Tool 300 since I got it, been carrying it with me everyday! Love it. Gerber isn't a bad tool. I just prefer Leatherman and like SOG over Gerber.
