2022 marks the 75th Anniversary of the Canadian Wildlife Service (Environment and Climate Change Canada). Since its creation, the passionate staff of CWS together with their partners have established themselves as leaders in nature conservation and protection efforts both in Canada and around the world. What is the name of that flute piece? The WWF incorrectly says it's Flute Poem by John Cacavas. The piece by Cacavas is simply called Poem, published by Hal Leonard, is readily available as free sheet music, is for flute and piano, and is another piece entirely. My Jurassic memory is telling me the flute player was the late Moe Kaufmann, and may have been written by him, but that's probably incorrect.
