  • In his TEDx talk, based on his childhood memory and personal experience, he explained his idea on universal culture of human rights and its elements. Pillars for legal culture was explained with spectrum of legal nihilism, legal fetishism, legal voluntarism, and legal idealism. His punchline: ‘Culture of human rights is the set of universally-recognized values by humankind as well as its real expression.’
    BOLORSAIKHAN Badamsambuu is independent human rights advisor, previously worked as National Human Rights Analyst at UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in Mongolia (2019-2021), National Consultant on Child Online Protection (2018-2019), Vice Coordinator of All for Education! (AFE) National Civil Society Coalition of Mongolia (2016-2018). Before joining AFE, he was human rights officer (2008-2016) and acting head of the division (2014-2015) at the National Human Rights Commission of Mongolia.
    He advises, contributes and shares his expertise to various projects and initiatives including election observation in 2008, 2012, 2016, 2017, White Ballot movement, youth development and participation, global citizenship, inclusive education for monk boys, child jockeys, children with disabilities and linguistic minorities, protection of minorities and marginalized groups, abolishment of death penalty, sexual harassment in the workplace. His passion to fight against marginalization leads him to study more about right to education, human rights education, gender equality, development, empowerment and social justice.
