    Could you do a video explaining the Ta-Koro pillar bridge? , are there real world counterparts to explain the heat removal as to allow for Protodermians to walk upon it?

    Protodermians is still quite a mouthful, isn't it? I call them "Biomechs", since basically every Matoran Universe being and species is bio-mechanical.

      I just call them biomechanoids since they are robots but with fleshy, organic biology in their physiology.

    According to the BIONICLE Wiki, the Glatorian technically are the name of the Glatorian species. However, the Skrall and Vorox were off-shoots, different species which evolved from the Glatorian species. Of course, this doesn't quite explain why certain Glatorian had such distinct differences in their physical form, such as Strakk, Malum, and Kiina. Nor does it explain why certain Skrall had different appearances, most significantly Tuma! Each Skrall had a bit of a hunched form, with their neck reaching forward, but that's it!

    • @heyheyitsjae2475
      @heyheyitsjae2475 Год назад +4

      The BIONICLE Wiki may not say that, but Bisector01 claims that Glatorian is a job title, not the name of their species. Most fans just call them Glatorian anyway because it's the closest thing to a name we have.
      As for the different appearances, we actually do have an explanation for why... on the Skrall at least. Skrall are a caste based society with a few different sub-breeds who are given positions of power based on breed. (Think how bees or ants work.) Known breeds of Skrall include
      The Warrior Class Skrall, who are what you probably think of when someone says Skrall. The most famous of these was the book only character Branar.
      The Special Forces Skrall, who were more muscular, smarter, and were put into leadership positions. The most famous of these was the Glatorian Legends set Stronius.
      The Leader Class Skrall, the gigantic Skrall in charge of the entire race. Tuma was the last surviving Leader Class.

      You really should not use the BIONICLE Wiki, as it is highly inaccurate and not as active as the largest and most reliable wiki out there, the BIONICLEsector01 wiki or BIOsector01 or BS01. Many things, way more often than on the wiki you mention, are sourced.

      The Magnans are also more organic over all, so I’d assume that has something to do with it too

      Tuma is specifically a leader class Skrall, last of his breed.

    Makes sence and sound cool, I like it! Also I have an idea for a video: how dose the kanohi hau work?

    • @darkseraph2009
      @darkseraph2009 11 месяцев назад

      Well what we know is that the kanohi hau is able to shield its wearer when activated. We have seen that this is primarily used against harmful objects and substances. It most resembles what is referred to in media as a force field, which is not a totally fictitious concept. For example if you were to try to push the south end of two magnets together, you would feel them attempt to repel each other even though they are not touching. This is a field of magnetic force, a force field, repelling another one of the same polarity. Similarly if you and a friend were to rub balloons on your hair you would find that the two balloons would repel each other when brought close. This is because of two electric force fields of the same charge sign repelling each other.
      Hypothetically the Kanohi hau could be projecting a large electromagnetic force field of negative electric charge Which would result in the electrons of whatever dangerous object or substance came into range being repelled, and thus the entire object or substance being shunted away. However, this would also result in a secondary magnetic field at the points of contact which should also result in affecting the mask or wearer, depending on where the area of origin of the projected force field is. Likewise, this would not result in a sudden, defined boundary like the hau, but a gradual long range effect that is felt more strongly closer to the source, and falls off with the square of the distance from the source. That is not to mention that to create said field would require a high number of fairly densely packed and almost perfectly aligned magnetic domains or electromagnetic circuits, Which would certainly affect an 85% mechanical user.
      But if we consider that fe-toa and gahlok-kal can manipulate magnetism in such a way that they can lift and move distance metal objects, then this idea of a sudden, defined radius force fields that does not affect the user negatively once again becomes feasible, All thanks to the vagueness of how magnetism powers work.

    Most fans actually use "MUan." No MU-ian or Muian, but MUan. At least on most of the largest Discord BIONICLE servers out there. I wonder why that wasn't included in the poll then. Protodermian is kind of silly to me too.

    • @theknowledgetower208
      @theknowledgetower208  Год назад +2

      It wasn't included basically because I'd never hear of it before (I'm not active in the discord space of the fandom), I hadn't heard of it and it didn't come up in the suggestions from people in the comments, so unfortunately it was missed from the list.
