4:46 - how do I "add at play cursor" from chopper when using a midi keyboard? I'd like to record playing the chopped sample via midi controller as if it were an instrument or vst.

Hello, I was wondering how do you chop up vocals and are there any plug-in i could download to Acid Music Studio?

I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I chop it the way I want it, drag it onto my project, but I can't seem to make a loop of the chopped section, and I tried "chop to a new clip" and that made it change tempo

if you just want to make a simple loop, go to the top of the arrangement page and there you will see marker flags/lines (above the timing ruler), this is your 'loop region'. you can move these along to the area of tracks you want to loop, then press loop icon on the transport bar or right-click on the marker flags and select 'loop playback'.

actually, this is what you need to do... simply highlight the track you want to loop, go to > view > clip properties, then under the 'general tab' select 'loop' in the 'acid type' menu. easy!

I have been using ACID since 1999 I never upgraded since version 3.0. I'm wondering since it was made by a different company called sonicfoundery before Sony bought them out. Is it possible for me to upgrade from version 3 to version 7 just by buying the upgrade on your website? Or is my version of ACID too old for that to work?

You can upgrade from any previous version to the current version, no problem.
