This is simply beautiful! Can't believe how nicely you know to decorate everything! All of your videos are so easy to follow that anyone even a beginner can follow that recipe made by you! I hope you'll continue posting these videos because they're awesome! ❤️
Aw thank you! That is my goal - to make things easy for anyone who wants to learn. I've got a list of more Cake Basics I want to launch in the near future so stay tuned!
Loved this series🥰🥰🥰 so happy i followed all the way along to the final result. Thank you Whitney for all the hardwork you did for us❤ This turned out so beautifully and i feel absolutely confident in recreatin it🙂 will make soon and share with you😊
Love the colors you chose for that cake! Just a suggestion -- there are often shiny new Fat Daddio's cookie sheets at HomeGoods for like $7.99. The baked-on grease on your older one was detracting from your beautiful cake and display of technique.
@@SugarandSparrow I'm glad to here that, wishing you a safe delivery🌈pray tht the baby will be a healthy baby and would grow up to be a happy, positive and kind person🌈❤
it is! I frosted the final layer of buttercream on top of a chilled, crumb coated cake. This way the final layer of frosting is still wet to the touch (so sprinkles stick really well) without being too soft/easy to indent. Here's the previous video that shows the frosting process: ruclips.net/video/5-bGPaO8elQ/видео.html
Thanks for the suggestion! That sounds so tasty! I already have separate recipes for chocolate cake, salted caramel buttercream, salted caramel sauce, and chocolate buttercream on my blog in case you want to combine some of those: www.sugarandsparrow.com I'll add the flavor combo to my list of future cake recipes though!
Thank-you for such a great video- I always wondered how to do this. I appreciate your talent and care !

Very pretty... what color of food gel?
I used AmeriColor Turquoise and Fuchsia for the buttercream colors in this video
does chillded mean in the fridge?
Yep fingerprints and dents! Gosh it was the hardest thing I’ve ever encountered on a cake!
the cake is freshly frosted?

In my excitement, I forgot the pan to catch the sprinkles. A month later I'm still finding them 🤣🤣
Haha! Definitely been there!
