You know I don't get why people call these 'deals' with the angel.
You don't give them anything in return. It's a gift; not a deal.

Actually,you are giving them your trust,because you ignored the devil and didnt take anything from there,just to prove yourself worthy to have an angel thing.
I prefer sacred heart over godhead. Godhead gives you only +1 damage. Sacred heart gives you +1 damage and 2,3x multiplier on top.
Godhead is just a 0.5 damage up.
Godhead's halo is op tho

The God head aura does 30% tear damage 15x per second. That's equivalent to a 4.5x damage up.

I think seraphim is a great item that no one ever notices or picks up. It deals great damage and can easily carry in the earlier floors

Once i was at sheol and my run looked like it wasn't going to beat satan, but i found a red chest and it teleported me to an angel deal and i got sacred heart XD

It makes sense that Angel deals are more directed towards defense, since you are like being protected and also killing = sin typically
Best run ever was my rarest run ever. Godhead, sacred heart, rerolled a mini mush into polyphemus, and still got brimstone and number 1 .
Yesterday I finally unlocked the Godhead... now the only thing I've yet to do is get it lol, would be amazing vs. Mega Satan

I really like Edens Soul. Once i activated it in another Angel room which gave me Sacred Heart AND THe Relic. Hell of a playthrough
I love the Trinity Shield. It saved my life at least 10 times. So it's my number 1. But I agree with the rest of list. :)
I never used Godhead, so I can't really say anything about it.
I actually like holy light much more then some items on the list but i respect you're opinion and btw awesome video!
If I could redo the list, I would probably include Holy Light on it because I think it is an incredible item!

Welp. Once I get Afterbirth+, the first thing I'm doing is breaking it so I can snag Crown of Light and Sacred Heart in a run.
Trinity shield + spear of justice = gg
Holidays moms knife + book of shadows + serpeants kiss = gg
NebelDuennschiss axb ipecac + dr. fetus + my reflection = gg
I swear I got this on a d4 reroll, it was pretty strong
i prefer the mind to the soul, maping is very important
people saying "trinity sheild is not afterbirth" were you even paying attention? In the honorable mentions there is the body, a rebirth item, and the only item that is afterbirth is crown of light. This list isn't "top 10 best NEW angel room items" it Top 10 angel room items including afterbirth items.

When i got holy mantle for The Lost, i got all of the completion marks in 3 hours, if i didn't have unlocked holy mantle, i would have died at least 20 times.
The list is good but it would 100% better if you had game play in the backround because I was falling asleep while watching

I thought the list was pretty good but the only part I disagree with is God head being the best, I think top 3 should be holy mantle, God head, and sacred heart as number 1
It’s funny you bring that up because I actually whole heartedly agree and have a new Top 15 Angel Deal and Top 15 Devil Deal item list in the work and that is the top 3 for angel!

Ok. Im a noob. XD ive only played for about 64 hours total, and i really struggle on layers past depths 2. (Womb sheol chest dark world, ect) do you guys have any tips?
The best advice I could give to someone just starting is don't give up. Isaac is a lot harder than people normally give it credit for. Your best path of success if to ensure you get deals with the devil early. Buy a spirit heart from the shop so you have less of a chance of taking red heart damage and utilize everything the floor gives you. Secret rooms, tinted rocks. For a beginner, try to stack up as much red health as you can. Utilizing self sacrifice rooms if you have copious amounts of red hearts on the ground can also help. Good luck :)
+OlexaKid64 thank you. Do you want to hear about my run this morning? It was one of the best runs i ever had. So i was azazel (you know to unlock stuff) and it was a normal run. Until depths 2. Once i beat mom i checked out the boss rush and there was ludo. Of course i got it and did boss rush. After boss rush i got strange attractor, then guppy. Then to make it better i had hive mind or something, which gave me giant flies and spiders, so everyone i killed got me super flies. And to make it even better i got tammys head on dark room. I beat the run and got golden god :D anyways, nice video. I dident know about most of these items (i dont even have afterbirth lol)
i highly recommend you get both Afterbirth, and Afterbirth+

The Soul is infinitely better than the Body in my opinion because it will cause you to get hit less on bullet-hell enemies like Hush, It Lives, Isaac, and Blue Baby

@@OlexaYT oh man, wasn't actually expecting a reply on a video this old. I do agree that the prayer card isn't as good as most other angel room items, but I have had it give me a few wins when I would have otherwise been pretty low on health. If you manage to get your hands on The Sun card as well, that can be fantastic albeit situational, and a bit of a trap if used too many times. Granted, I'm not as good at dodging as I'd like to be, so I may overvalue hearts. Nice videos!

Sorry but trinity shield is WAY too low on this list. Looking at the other items I would have put it at number 5, also holy mantle is damn good but not as good as trinity shield so that would prob go at number 6. And come on, SACRED HEART IS THE BEST ITEM IN THE ENTIRE GAME, your lying to yourself if it's not number one in angel rooms. God head goes in number 2 slot if you ask me, also a crazy good item but sacred heart is just better. Good video tho keep it up.
We all have opinions! But I've definitely come around on the fact Sacred Heart is #1. I guess I was just peer pressured into the Godhead #1. Trinity Shield is in no way shape or form better than Holy Mantle though and you're lying to yourself if you think that. Glad you enjoyed! I didn't mean to sound disrespectful! I was just curious. Spectral tears aren't exactly a huge advantage in the game anymore and flight can be gotten in so many other different ways. The items are just a lil bland to me. I don't doubt they can be useful, just I think there's others that do a little more.

Sacred heart gives you a 2x damage multiplier and adds one damage grants homing tears and decreases tear speed. Godhead gives 0.3 damage 0.25 shot speed and grants homing tears with an aura around them which deals an insane amount of damage the aura size scales with tear sizes. So in most situations godhead is much much better
