“I’ve always loved Marella Agnelli’s pink-and-white bedroom in Morocco. I tend to think of a bedroom as more of a woman’s domain, where you’re allowed to take a softer, more feminine approach. But surprisingly, men love it, too. When I traveled to India several years ago, I visited the Baby Taj (I’timad-ud-Daulah) in Agra, which took my breath away. I worked with de Gournay to capture some of the details in the wallpaper.”--Cathy Kincaid

I am totally dining out on this house. I don't think I have ever, ever feasted so well because of the interior design involved in a show house. There is a sense of harmony right the way through. I love this room even though it's ultra feminine and pink (a color I can live without). But I love the cozy, romantic atmosphere she has created. Go figure! It's amazing how good design by great designers can make one appreciate the finer things. THAT is art. Brava!

Lovely, but as with a lot of master bedrooms I see... it's wildly feminine. I can't imagine an adult middle-aged man living comfortably in that girlish environment with his wife. These type of pink and floral master suites are probably my biggest pet peeve when it comes to professional design.
