Anand Ranganathan explained 9 reasons as to why Hindus are the oppressed group even within India despite being the majority population. Majority of those reasons were introduced under Congress rule. This is why many Hindus vote for BJP. And Anand was an atheist who criticized both BJP and Congress relatively fairly.

Check how much money is being collected from temples in India to pay salaries and even the Bjp hasn't touched this issue anywhere as they also enjoy the money extracted. As per stats, it is true that more Hindu-Muslim riots has happened during Congress as compared to BJP. There might be small friction here & there, but BJP unlike Congress never hesitate to use Police on both Hindus & Muslim to diffuse the situation.
Also in current globalization scenario even a single riot shouldn't happen as it'll impact on our foreign investments
@@sensibleenergy Of course, I would like that too 😅 but some will happen we are too religiously diverse. Look at UK,US, Canada, Germany, France protest, riots.. basically some religious tensions have begun to emerge. They can't even handle the little religious diversity they have 😅. That too when there is no foreign player flaming the flames.

Take the example of UP, the law & order situation is much better & chances of riots are usually suppressed because of Swift action from Police.

Some Muslims do try to ignite violence upon flimsy pretexts and there have been attacks on religious processions, several "sar tan se..." murders etc. More of these in Non BJP states.

That's just 2 riots. Also Manipur riots are not even Hindu vs Muslim so irrelevant to the conversation here. That's between two tribes which have long fought with one another.
the vast bulk of riots throughout India have occurred under non-BJP governments.
As a counterexample- look at UP. There has been less than 10 communal riot deaths (read NCRB crime data) in the past 5 years under Yogi's government. Compared that to before under non-BJP governments where riots occurred at much greater rates.
Lots of congress men are now joining BJP and the core bjp karyakarta or leaders are on the sidelines now.

Coming from a Gujarati, previously lived in Ahmedabad. Congress was always the Culprit of riots, even 2002 riots, it was deliberately created by Congress as "Modi" a hardcore karyakarta, but inexperienced Politician or leader became CM just two months before riots, and so to blame on him. Congress knew before even Modi became as a CM, that how dangerous he will be for Congress.
But he never regretted for his inaction though, point to be noted.

Bhajanpura in Delhi is the most recent example of BJP's riot engineering during its rule. Dr Swamy can get away with his lies in front of a greenhorn. Let Karan Thapar interview him, and then his eh eh eh would multiply.
To state things with over-confidence using his background as heavy weight is not the right thing to do. Dr Swamy must refrain from doing this. He is NOT the #1 economist on this planet. We can always find thousands who can criticize but only a handful who can deliver. PM Modi has simply delivered---including the Spectacular Temple for Lord Rama. If Dr Swamy pens down a request, I am sure PM Modi will certainly include him in his team of advisors and then Dr Swamy's ideas can be debated and tested.
