She is the tallest member in the group and I missed her being called the "giant maknae" in the past 10. Since Red Velvet's maknae joined the group in early 2015, the group really became successful. I'm not very familiar with Red Velvet, I've been a SHINee and Girl's Day stan for so long, and am only recently venturing out to other artists. When were RV called flops? They're very talented and creative!

I feel like Joy matured so much, Yeri became happier, Irene gained more confidence and Wendy and Seulgi became even more amazing... They're really an awesome group I love them
And SM isn't starving Wendy anymore, for Power up she was slim but healthy and Psycho era was the healthiest she's ever been, her voice sounded incredible - until sbs ruined it all - I miss my baby
yeah, of all the gg's I follow at least, they have grown and matured the most. Their entire library is one big bop - not a clunker among them. That's impressive.
To see their growth is amazing. Joy looked so young during the Happiness stage, and then she absolutely slayed that Adult Ceremony special stage (which also gave us her incredible Joy Legend fancam). Joy has continued to grow so much and show her versatility from a duet like Marry You to Peek-A-Boo! 💚 Red Velvet are truly a group full of talented beautiful women.
So proud of Yeri, she started a little shy and shaky, but she's grown so confident and stable. Despite the hate thrown her way she remains bright, energetic and hardworking. Love our maknae so much ❤️😊
Not just by looks but personality wise Joy was the one who matured the most. Joy wasn't initially trained together with other members not until the line up for RV was final, she was a special trainee so no one knew her before debut unlike Wendy, Seulgi and Irene,Yeri who were all featured in SM rookies project. SM wanted to keep Joy's natural charm and cheerful/bright vibe (that's how she got her stage name) so she wasn't included in the strenuous, and possibly harsh trainings of others, however after debut Joy received a lot of hate from netizens about her voice and weight and that affected her a lot, she also struggled to transition more to a vocalist than being a lead rapper and give up her maknae position to Yeri. So i think that's the reason why Joy strived to achieved a brand new image for herself, stronger and more mature so she can prove those haters. But even before she always had this sexy charm, she was vocal about her wanting to be a sexy-cutie type of idol. MBC seems really aware of her sexy side so she was included in the maknae stage of Adult Ceremony and in WGM Sungjae gave Joy the nickname 'hot joy' and noticed Joy's sexy charms, and seductive eyes even before so i wasn't surprised that she became the sexy dynamite we all know now hahaha.

I've been a kpop fan since 2007.. it is a strange feeling to say I've basically witnessed most groups that are still promoting debut, except for some of the OG kpop groups/singers.
Their discography is at the top of the industry!! The way they can effortlessly perform every genre and bring that velvety and red side to all of them just stands out from the rest and I stan a lot of groups. Even the legendary ones.
My favorite girl group ever!!!! I think I have never fangirled so hard to any other group like I do to red velvet!!! I like everything about them, their music, their talent, their personality, their values, their image, their concepts, their attractiveness, their versatility, their voices, their dance, their quirks, everything 😂 For me they are the best group ever, and OT5 is the best combination ever :)

most of the girl groups now resembles or imitates past girl groups but RedVelvet were one of the Group with unique members, concept, styles, choreo and music... or i must say they are the only one for me... that's why i cant stop stanning them. really love them.

진짜로 안타까운게 데뷔초에는 뭔가 무대를 진짜 즐기고 목상태도 깔끔하고 중간중간에 잘 웃는데 점점 후반부로 올수록 애들 힘든게 눈에 보인다. 웬디만해도 피카부나 배드보이때 목상태가 정말 안좋아 보인다. 게다가 슬기도 음정이 불안할 정도면 ㄷㄷ 에스엠이 제발 돈욕심 조금만 버리고 팬들 민심처럼 차라리 조금만 쉬다오는 것이 맞지않을까 싶다. 내 주위에서도 최근 레벨 노래가 좋았다가 점점 춤이라던지 노래 완성도같은 문제로 탈덕을 하고 다른 그룹으로 붙는 것이 정말 안타까운 심정이다. 슬기 덕후로써 제발 일본 투어니 월드투어니 행복의 가사처럼 이런머니나 그런파워는 진심으로 행복이 아니라는 것처럼 진정으로 그들이 원하는 것을 하고 잠시 휴식이 좀 필요한 부분으로 보인다. 레드벨벳 파이팅!!슬기야 사랑햏!
This shows red velvet has so much diversity in their music. Like from cutesy to sexy to girly to ballad type to girl rush to summertime. Their concepts do not feel repeated or over saturated. I'm not very familiar with Red Velvet, I've been a SHINee and Girl's Day stan for so long, and am only recently venturing out to other artists. When were RV called flops? They're very talented and creative!

To see their growth is amazing. Joy looked so young during the Happiness stage, and then she absolutely slayed that Adult Ceremony special stage (which also gave us her incredible Joy Legend fancam). Joy has continued to grow so much and show her versatility from a duet like Marry You to Peek-A-Boo! 💚 Red Velvet are truly a group full of talented beautiful women.

Not just by looks but personality wise Joy was the one who matured the most. Joy wasn't initially trained together with other members not until the line up for RV was final, she was a special trainee so no one knew her before debut unlike Wendy, Seulgi and Irene,Yeri who were all featured in SM rookies project. SM wanted to keep Joy's natural charm and cheerful/bright vibe (that's how she got her stage name) so she wasn't included in the strenuous, and possibly harsh trainings of others, however after debut Joy received a lot of hate from netizens about her voice and weight and that affected her a lot, she also struggled to transition more to a vocalist than being a lead rapper and give up her maknae position to Yeri. So i think that's the reason why Joy strived to achieved a brand new image for herself, stronger and more mature so she can prove those haters. But even before she always had this sexy charm, she was vocal about her wanting to be a sexy-cutie type of idol. MBC seems really aware of her sexy side so she was included in the maknae stage of Adult Ceremony and in WGM Sungjae gave Joy the nickname 'hot joy' and noticed Joy's sexy charms, and seductive eyes even before so i wasn't surprised that she became the sexy dynamite we all know now hahaha.

I've been a kpop fan since 2007.. it is a strange feeling to say I've basically witnessed most groups that are still promoting debut, except for some of the OG kpop groups/singers.
Their discography is at the top of the industry!! The way they can effortlessly perform every genre and bring that velvety and red side to all of them just stands out from the rest and I stan a lot of groups. Even the legendary ones.

진짜로 안타까운게 데뷔초에는 뭔가 무대를 진짜 즐기고
