Yeah. Maybe the Ancient One had no idea about the existence of the Scarlet Witch and what her power is capable of, or she did but she didn't believe such powerful entity could exist. Coz she died before Strange became Sorcerer Supreme which was way before the Scarlet Witch came into fruition, which means she couldn't foresee Wanda turning into the Scarlet Witch. So she just said that it's impossible to escape the mirror dimension without a sling ring, even tho it's not as seen in this clip.
This is one of my favorite scenes with The scarlet witch in this movie. She’s not just powerful she is perceptive and creative with how she uses her abilities.
Creative? She just shoots bolts and reflects back attacks. I don’t count Black Bolt and Mr. Fantastic because those were too fast. Really should have at least gave them a hot minute.
This movie basically solved one of Wanda's biggest weaknesses, she was a glass cannon before this, she could do a lot of damage but can get easily taken down (as seen in civil wars). While in this movie she's pretty much immortal.
The fact that she took his sling ring away from him whilst she was still in the mirror dimension just shows how powerful she is. Also she crawled through that mirror like a bad ass and shook it off like a cat falling from a tree😭💀
Exactly and it’s not like she destroyed his sling ring when she was out of the dimension, she destroyed it while still in the dimension and trying to get out.
Fun fact when Wanda coming out of the mirror dimension you can see her using her magic to heal herself cause she was literally stepping threw broken glass

The way Wanda’s body looks all contorted when she’s crawling out, reminds me of that one scene from IT where Pennywise crawls out the refrigerator and tells Stanley “Time to Float” My only question is, How was Wanda able to dismantle and make disappear Dr Strange’s sling ring if she was still inside the mirror dimension ?
I think when she stuck her hand through the glass-water wall, maybe that began connecting her back to the normal world, thus allowing her magic to come through the dimensional barrier.
Wanda is not only powerful but very clever and i think she has more iq than strange like when she can't win at physical fight then she find a possibility after some second, like she turn mirror in water, and strange also took several days just to learn teleportation with the help of sling ring, while Wanda not only learn runes but also teleportation just by seeing agatha hands movement and do it without fail at first attempt, which is very cool
@Crispy N Crunchy wanda has always been intelligent tho, even in wandavision, she usd clouds and mist to cover up her making the runes whilst faking to "miss" agatha. Smart
@Crispy N Crunchy you could be clever / intelligent but without education. And oh please, wanda studied the darkhold right after the events of wandavision. No wonder she acts quickly throughout MoM.
This scene really shows how Wanda is in tune with her powers and abilities. Using them is second nature to her and she intuitively knows how to use them, even if she doesn't know why.
It's at 1:17 where it becomes the most apparent that this is a Sam Raimi film. Because those Dutch angle quick push-ins feel straight out of _Evil Dead._ But I do think it really does work with the tone of the movie.
One thing I love is that even with the Darkhold destroyed in every universe, Wanda 616 can still likely do most of this awesome insane sh*t. The darkhold seemed to be more about specific rituals like summoning demons and obvi the dreamwalking-but brute forcing her way out of the mirror dimension and instantly healing her shredded up body seemed to be part of her base power set.
@Crispy N Crunchy Not necessarily. The Darkhold only provided Wanda knowledge on Chaos Magic. Wanda's power is her own. Really, the only thing she needs to Darkhold to be present for is to dreamwalk, as its basically impossible to do it without the book or the spells being next to you, hence why Wanda could only do it at Kamar Taj and Mount Wundagore and why Sinister Strange and 838 Strange could only do it with their Darkholds nearby them. Other than dreamwalking, Wanda can do virtually everything else on her own now that she's studied those spells
@Crispy N Crunchy Plus, Agatha stated that Chaos Magic is a magic of spontaneous creation, implying that Wanda doesn't even need to necessarily study spells to perform big feats. She can basically think it and her Chaos Magic will execute the spell for her.
@Crispy N Crunchy It wasn't really a durability amp, she was given the knowledge on how to strengthen herself. Again, the Darkhold provides knowledge, not power. The Darkhold has a whole Scarlet Witch chapter about her abilities, powers & details of the Scarlet Witch, as a mythical, cosmic being. She studied on how to grow her power to be stronger & more in control of Chaos Magic than she was in WandaVision.
@Crispy N Crunchy Also, WandaVision was a whole 10 months before DSMOM. WandaVision took place in November 2023 while DSMOM happened in September 2024, so Wanda had almost a year to become stronger. It makes sense that her power & durability grew, since she studied her magic for so long in isolation.
@Crispy N Crunchy You're saying it like she was randomly given more durability. She worked for that durability by studying about Chaos Magic & mastering her powers for nearly a year by herself.
Not even the mirror dimension or the souls of the damned could contain her, she is the strongest Avenger. Edit: Thanks for the likes, everyone! I'm not gonna bother reading the replies from the naysayers. Just know that Wanda is, in fact, the strongest Avenger.
@@ktm1125 true true the strange in what if is the most powerful canon strange we know of today he’s destroyed his own universe and was able to fight ultron with the infinity stones etc etc
How did Strange’s sling ring disintegrate? If that was Wanda, that raises a lot of questions. Like how she did that from the mirror dimensions without seeing Strange or even knowing he was going to use it.
How did she seal Black Bolt's mouth shut without even indicating that she was using her powers? How can she now teleport but only seemingly short distances? How can she spaghettify Mr Fantastic and no one else? How can she disintegrate one sorcerer, but no one else in the whole movie? The answer: No one knows, the writer was just handing her powers for the sake of plot/a cool scene without actually considering the impact it has on the story.
Damn 🔥 man Bro one request please do that scene which comes after few minutes of this phase, where Dr. Strange & America will go to different, different, different universes that is so beautiful and colorful! I really enjoyed that phase a lot in theater.

The 3 best phase 4 mcu movies 1 Doctor strange in the multiverse of madness 2 Spider-Man no way home 3 Shang chi legend of the ten rings Man I really excited for black panther wakanda forever
I like how terrified Wanda looks. Here she is, being presented as a horror movie villain. But even as a scary villain, she herself is afraid of something. They also show Doctor Strange as slightly terrifying in this scene. As a sorcerer, he can use whatever trickery he needs to install fear into those he fights.
Her using the reflections weirdly reminded me of the Basilisk in Chamber of Secrets. Also, her crawling reminded me of The Ring, which my memories of are not nearly as fond. Anyway, loved the creepiness of this movie 😂
One of the big surprises from MCU, this movie is beyond my expectations unlike the biggest names/characters in Marvel which is always a miss including the Avengers. in this scene, Wanda showing fear and stress makes you think Strange has the advantage only to do that frightening break dance she did which reminds me of that horror movie where a female monster comes out of television screen. the CGI could be better though, CGI throughout the movie is only about right/cheap for a Dr. Strange movie.
I thought it was the other way around, the writing was messy and there were a lot of things that could've been done better but the CGI for the most part was great, some of the best visuals I've seen in a movie in a while
Even if they had managed to cover the reflections there are some they forgot about namely their eyes. If they really wanted to get rid of all the reflections they should have blocked and obscured every source of light, reflections don't exist in pure darkness.
Sam Rami is just in a different place. The old tricks just work to this day I wasn't even going to watch this one but this changed my mind. Hail to the king baby.

This scene was so cool and also scary. This movie was actually pretty scary and horror like
wow this is the best scenes for Dolby Atmos
and 4k hdr
I absolutely loved this scene....
I just realized when she shot her beam, every time the beam hit a wall, the floor erupted with more glass shards as if to keep her at bay.
Yep
That proves that no matter who the prisoner, brute force could never work for escaping
Honestly people are hating on her when literally she made marvel more relevant in the pandemic era
People are forgetting the film was exciting because of Wanda, eliminate her, it'd flop
@@brianm3160 what are you talking about? The biggest flaws with the movie was because of her. Her motivations were stupid. Her writing was garbage. And the only way they could show her being more powerful was by nerfing every other character in the movie
@@deviny
I guess you can write a movie, are you a writer? No.
Her motivations were stupid? No, she was corrupted by a book of the dammed, it fed her delusions.
If you think this was dumb, don't watch What If... Dr. Lost his heart. Similar story different context.
Were the characters nerfed?
Nope, Strange was still as powerful, but chose not to engage in battle because
1. He's no match for the SW, it's prophesied.
2. He knows that she's corrupted, not doing it out of free will.
I guess we watched different movies because even my old grandma understood this film and the characters perfectly.
Don't go around typing opinions you would never dare say out loud just because you're hiding behind a screen. It's pathetic.
@@brianm3160 lmao you're dumb af. You don't need to be a writer to criticise writing you clown. Am I not allowed to send back food in a restaurant when it's not good just because I'm not a certified chef? Your logic is absurd just like your ridiculous excuses for this movie.
Ah yes the dumb plot mcguffin corrupted her and therefore we shouldn't question anything she does. Stupid excuse for bad writing
What if was also a crap show so who cares?
Yes they did nerf everyone else. The things strange did in infinity war were way better than anything he did in this movie. They turned reed Richards into an absolute moron by telling Wanda everything. They nerfed professor x who couldn't even defend himself in a mind battle.
Also I've told people this stuff face to face. Not my problem you're insecure af. Also funny how you had to use your grandma as the bottom standard of what it means to understand a movie.
Absolute clown 🤡😂😂😂
@@brianm3160 people expected a doctor strange vs evil strange film....not some witch looking out for some fake boys
The way Wanda’s body looks all contorted when she’s crawling out, reminds me of that one scene from IT where Pennywise crawls out the refrigerator and tells Stanley “Time to Float”
My only question is, How was Wanda able to dismantle and make disappear Dr Strange’s sling ring if she was still inside the mirror dimension ?
I think when she stuck her hand through the glass-water wall, maybe that began connecting her back to the normal world, thus allowing her magic to come through the dimensional barrier.
When she destroyed Strange's sling ring, she was still outside of the Mirror Dimension. She was trapped there after that.
This is such a perfect clip to demonstrate what HDR is about!
Smart
@Crispy N Crunchy by intelligent i meant she's very clever and creative when she outsmarts opponents in battles not in a math problem 😀
@Crispy N Crunchy you could be clever / intelligent but without education. And oh please, wanda studied the darkhold right after the events of wandavision. No wonder she acts quickly throughout MoM.
not really strange is way more intelligent
Strange is much smarter, but you could say Wanda is more street smart.
Scarlet Witch urgently needs a solo movie, yes she does!!!
Wandavision.
@@prodigym we said movie.
@@y2kdiorprincess990 sorry Bud that’s the best your gonna get…budget cuts
@@dawsynlarson696 most likely she will have a solo movie since marvel have much bigger plans for scarlet witch
Not really
I watched this on TV the other day now I'm getting a million multiverse of madness videos.
She literally my favorite character
A really satisfying movie 😊
Yeah if you're 2 years old
@@deviny well, wouldn't we all want to be young again right?☺️
Yeah. But some scenes are pretty much for adults. 😅
@@deviny So if doctor strange 2 is for 2 years old then batman is for 1 plus🤣🤣
@@greatloverofkrishna thank you for proving my comment right. Only a 2 year old would think that was a good comeback 🤦♂️
We have to say it 1:53 this scene it’s so good 😮
This is the best horror movie i have seen so far
Bro what 💀
Bro what 💀
Lmao thank you for proving to everyone that you're a little kid who hasn't seen any horror movies. You clowns are hilarious
Nah 😭

This scene really shows how Wanda is in tune with her powers and abilities. Using them is second nature to her and she intuitively knows how to use them, even if she doesn't know why.
4k HDR + IMAX looks soo good.
The music box horror vibe, so charming Mr Raimi!
This beginning scene was amazing
You can feel the raimi in this scene.
This is my favorite Marvel movie.
The VFX in this movie was just amazing.
4k clips are too much awesome to watch
Loved it
they gave us scenes like this and yet the internet only looks at the third eye scene for not being good effects
its meant to look cheap, people really dont watch Sam Raimi flicks and be talking shit
There's no reason to hate this film. Raimi's Classic 💀
Right and one of the best superhero movies for this year
God, WHY HAVE THEY NOT MADE A HORROR GAME ABOUT HER YET???
It has a lot of potential
0:24 i just loved the creepy music that started playing.
It's at 1:17 where it becomes the most apparent that this is a Sam Raimi film. Because those Dutch angle quick push-ins feel straight out of _Evil Dead._ But I do think it really does work with the tone of the movie.
Its very Drag Me To Hell too
If you saw this in theaters, you know how freaking horrifying this was lmao
00:13 I mean, her acting skills are really impressive. Elizabeth Olsen nailed her part damn well. Good job, Marvel, for another great casting.
@Crispy N Crunchy
It wasn't really a durability amp, she was given the knowledge on how to strengthen herself.
@Crispy N Crunchy
Also, WandaVision was a whole 10 months before DSMOM. WandaVision took place in November 2023 while DSMOM happened in September 2024, so Wanda had almost a year to become stronger. It makes sense that her power & durability grew, since she studied her magic for so long in isolation.
@Crispy N Crunchy
You're saying it like she was randomly given more durability. She worked for that durability by studying about Chaos Magic & mastering her powers for nearly a year by herself.
Wanda🔥
This film was really amazing, thought it have some weak points but it entertains a lot with a little horror elements.
Strange: "she's using the reflections, cover the reflections"
America: *continues to look longingly into a reflection*
Not even the mirror dimension or the souls of the damned could contain her, she is the strongest Avenger.
Edit: Thanks for the likes, everyone! I'm not gonna bother reading the replies from the naysayers. Just know that Wanda is, in fact, the strongest Avenger.
Strange could solo her I mean other strange killed thanos using the book of vishanti and wanda here is more powerful cause of the dark hold
I mean, she is the strongest avenger of this universe. We have strange Supreme who could have wiped the floor with her?
@@ktm1125 true true the strange in what if is the most powerful canon strange we know of today he’s destroyed his own universe and was able to fight ultron with the infinity stones etc etc
strongest being maybe but she ain't an avenger now
she is not an avengers lmao
How did Strange’s sling ring disintegrate? If that was Wanda, that raises a lot of questions. Like how she did that from the mirror dimensions without seeing Strange or even knowing he was going to use it.
Chaos
How did she seal Black Bolt's mouth shut without even indicating that she was using her powers? How can she now teleport but only seemingly short distances? How can she spaghettify Mr Fantastic and no one else? How can she disintegrate one sorcerer, but no one else in the whole movie?
The answer: No one knows, the writer was just handing her powers for the sake of plot/a cool scene without actually considering the impact it has on the story.
Chaos she manipulate the reflections into liquid form as a portal to escape
Last awesome movie of marvel. Havent watched GOTG till yet..
This movie is overhated. I love it it is in my Top 5 MCU Movies.
So much of Evil dead kind of vibe scenes in this movie
Damn 🔥 man
Bro one request please do that scene which comes after few minutes of this phase, where Dr. Strange & America will go to different, different, different universes that is so beautiful and colorful! I really enjoyed that phase a lot in theater.
Sure.
1:56 is such a Raimi scene, I don't know why this flick gets so much hate. Not perfect, but it entertained me the whole way. And that's why we watch.
She is such a battle genius ❤
Can we just stop and think about how wanda just dominated an entire FREAKING INESCAPABLE DIMENSION?!!
Wakanda forever
Does somebody know if there's a extended ver of the first song? I mean the music box one. Thanks
Wanda ♥️😍👀
1:07-2:18
Nope. Nope. NopeNopeNope!
So much Nope!
Sam Rami really outdid himself with the horror settings. Elizabeth Olsen easily helped bring them to life
The Horror tone they gave Wanda was just amazing.. it was such a great project, however the execution was not so impressive as we all know😌
Endgame strange: bends the ocean
MoM strange: cover those little water puddles with our bare hands cuz I suddenly don't know how to use my magic!
She took or destroyed his sling ring seconds ago he could not use magic
Thanks for 4k‼️
It's like Sam Saw the first doctor strange and turned everything up to 11 just by throwing in some horror, good job Man
notice how at 0:45 , her energy blast doesn’t hit her hence she has probability manipulation
I love the detail of when she initially tries to escape with raw magic, you can see the mirror dimension trap enclose on her when the spell bounces.
that's what happens when you give a marvel movie to a talented and creative director. Although I can understand some of the citicism of phase 4, it's one of the most refreshing ones in term of cinema
The 3 best phase 4 mcu movies
1 Doctor strange in the multiverse of madness
2 Spider-Man no way home
3 Shang chi legend of the ten rings
Man I really excited for black panther wakanda forever
I like how terrified Wanda looks. Here she is, being presented as a horror movie villain. But even as a scary villain, she herself is afraid of something. They also show Doctor Strange as slightly terrifying in this scene. As a sorcerer, he can use whatever trickery he needs to install fear into those he fights.
Wanda was scary af in this movie ngl 🥶
Her using the reflections weirdly reminded me of the Basilisk in Chamber of Secrets. Also, her crawling reminded me of The Ring, which my memories of are not nearly as fond. Anyway, loved the creepiness of this movie 😂
10/10 scene.
Love your videos!
I was fascinated at this part and I wish it was longer 😫😔
Imagine if we got that sight of her breaking in through someone's eye.
@@itssharktime6560 bloody, gruesome and terrifying. Right up Raimi's ally. If it was R-Rated maybe we could've had that scene.
Sam Rami is just in a different place. The old tricks just work to this day I wasn't even going to watch this one but this changed my mind. Hail to the king baby.
1:53 The Ring
