Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18. They just came off a North American tour of 103 gigs in Mexico, US, and Canada. They just finished touring four shows with Muse. They are all three classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. They started as a cover band and now have 46 original songs in an EP, three albums, and a single. No bad songs. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. At home they are humble down to earth individuals.

I’ve been following them since 2012 before they were The Warning, it all stared when I saw a very young Paulina giving the skins a right bashing, followed it up and found some awesome covers of popular rock music, amazing for their age. I’ve been on their case ever since and it’s been a great joy to see them progress from being a good covers band to what they are now! For me one of the best achievements for them was opening for Muse in the Mexico leg of their world tour, there were 4 gigs in Mexico, two of them were in Mexico City. It was amazing to see them opening for their favourite band, it meant so much to them! You’ve opened the honey pot now, no going back 😜 have fun!
Nice reaction vid! Love the 7/4 riff in Evolve. I was late to the game with the Warning, too, but can't get enough of them now. Of their recent stuff, pick one, they're all great! Disciple, Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara, Choke, Error, Animosity Live at Teatro Metropólitan, Money, Error, Martirio, Kool Aid Kids. After all those, Revenant bored a hole in my soul. Also worth a trip back to when they were just 18, 16, and not quite 14 with Dust to Dust Live at the Lunario, or go all the way back to their viral cover of Enter Sandman when they were 14, 12, and 9.

Thanks! Yeah I had heard a lot of NW and Sabaton before, I started the channel to do reactions to the ones I had not heard from those groups. Since then I've been fortunate to have great recommendations from commenters and found new bands too. I will definitely be checking out more The Warning. Nice reaction. In this last year they have had more than 100 live shows. Aside from their own headlining “Mayday” shows, they have toured/opened for Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, Three Days Grace. Opened for the Foo Fighters, Guns and Roses and 4 shows opening for Muse. They capped off 2022 at Rock el Parque in Colombia ( Latin America’s biggest music festival), followed by a headlining show in Lima, Peru. They head to Europe this summer with dates in Germany and the UK so far.

I recommend you live sessions of the next songs, dust to dust live at lunario, dull knives live at the cave, animosity live at teatro metropolitan, as you can see the fan base is very passionate and they take the band as family, thats because most of the fanbase has seen this girls simply grow in youtube, they are very young but you can find videos of the band when bass player was like 8 years old, and since then they have been playing so they are considered seasoned musicians...

@@metalzonereactions Their manager, Rudy Joffroy, has background in the cinema industry and has contacts all around Monterrey. He has found all sorts of interesting locations in the city and they are very good at getting a lot out of a low budget. The less money they borrow from their label (Lava), the better off they are.

There most recent album "Error" is full of rock hits. Check out Error and Z and Animosity to start out with. If you really want to see how talented they are check out Dust to Dust Live at Lunario from about 4 years ago. The drummer sings lead and the song is a classic rock song. For Z and Animosity they have live studio performances on their RUclips page and they are really good.

With 2,320 Patrons on their Patreon account, they rank 11th in terms of patrons within the “Music” category. The 10 ahead of them are either “reactors”or cover bands, or on-line music instructors. That means The Warning has the greatest number of “Patreons” of any original music creators on the Patreon platform. They have done an incredible job of nurturing the relationship between themselves and their fans. They work hard at it.

The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 18) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 21) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 23) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band. They had been uploading their musical journey to RUclips for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA. They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues. In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever! So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on RUclips and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star. On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. Welcome to the wonderful world of The Warning Allan! I see the rest of The Warning Army has already dropped by to say hi, give you proper introductions to the band, and plenty of recommendations. I will say that it is impossible to put their music into one specific genre or rock music because they will bounce around them from song to song. As they've said in interviews, they write each song to be the best it can be regardless of where it fits on someone's arbitrary spectrum of which category they have been assigned as a band, so be prepared to hear different influences in each of their songs. That variety is honestly very refreshing and is what defines them most of all. They're also just genuinely really good people and treat their fans more like family than any other band I have ever seen. I subscribed to enjoy the trip down this rabbit hole with you, can't wait for more!
Glad you enjoyed your first exposure to The Warning! Yep that was a drone they used, and the bit you called groovy at the end there is because they changed time signatures from the usual 4/4 used in the rest of the song (and most music in general) to 7/4, it happened for that little riff a few times throughout the song. Even those who don't know anything about music can often pick up on the different feel of it. Recommendations: If you want a guitar solo and the drummer singing lead and lots of attitude, try "Narcisista" (in Spanish, but still a favourite). If you want explosive heavier energy try "Dull Knives". If you want a jam try "Survive". If you want lots of bass try "Z". If you want powerful vocals try "Crimson Queen" (ballad) or "Martirio" (Spanish, not ballad). If you want piano ballads try "Black Holes" or "Show Me the Light". If you want kick-ass drums try "Unmendable". Nearly all of these songs have a live concert/live session version on their official RUclips channel (but just ask for links if you want them!). Each of these categories could have multiple other songs but hopefully this will keep you going! Have fun!
I'll add Disciple and P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C. to the high energy songs (the latter being deep into a concept album with a story, so save that one along with dull knives if you want the rock novel experience) and Revenant to the ballads.

One of my guilty pleasures is watching a reactor listen the 'The Warning' for the first time. Whatever "It" is, 'The Warning' has it. For me it is that they are so sincere. They write their own music. Intelligent and relevant lyrics. Genuine respect and appreciation of their fans. No sexualization. It is no wonder many fans feel like proud aunts and uncles.

That it was done by an Indie band of what are essentially children makes it one of the most intriguing and impactful pieces of commentary on popular culture this century.

Not sure what it is about them that inspires that feeling of guardianship, maybe it is that viral video of entering sandman when they were just 9 through 14. It happened to me though and I have heard other reactors say that as well. Heck it seems to have happened to some rockers like Lizzy Hale. Makes no sense really.

Impressively, There are Facebook Chapters of “The Warning Army” in almost every country you can think of… and probably a few you haven’t. Their fan pages in Indonesia and Bangladesh are surprisingly active.
Pau as in the pow-erhouse she is on the drums. Ale as in alley (for us english blokes) or All-ay (if you want to stay true to Spanish. And the guitarist Dani as in Danny. Ale just turned 18, and if you go back to their first appearance, she is 9 and the bass is as big as she is. Watch their cover of Muse's Hysteria that they did for their school. Little Ale just kills it.

Great reaction Allan! The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020. They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track! The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs. I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 2 more times during the 6 shows I attended on their recent North American MAYDAY Tour. Allan, you will be amazed at the number of "old rockers" who had pretty much given up on modern music who are now ardent fans of The Warning. You will also keep on hearing the statement from fans that they are "The Real Deal". They really don't have any bad songs.

They have also been super adept at managing their social media presence. There's also the fact that they've got a good aura.
You commented on Dany's Mesa Boogies etc but not Ale's 2 badass bass stacks. They are 2 Ampeg SVT 4PRO 1200 watts each bass heads on top of 2 Ampeg 8x10 inch woofer cabinets...so, 2400 watts on top of 16 X 10 inch drivers/woofers/speakers...dang!

Alessia had no idea what to do but because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed the song and recorded it in one week! they created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. @@metalzonereactions yes. Martirio is the second of their two songs to come out in Spanish. The Official video is great, but I really like the SiriusXM studio session they did of it ( easily searched for). It really showcases their skills and allows Ale’s harmonies to stand out.
Martirio hadn't been my favorite song on Mayday (the first half of Error that was released), but live in Boston it was out of this world. They're always best enjoyed live, but there are some songs that only develop their full impact in person. I can only imagine it live in stadiums in Spanish-speaking countries, with everyone singing along.

Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 23, Pau, drummer 21, and Ale, bassist 18.
They just came off a North American tour of 103 gigs in Mexico, US, and Canada.
They just finished touring four shows with Muse.
They are all three classically trained pianists and Dany & Ale can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015.
They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey.
They started as a cover band and now have 46 original songs in an EP, three albums, and a single. No bad songs. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances.
At home they are humble down to earth individuals.
One of the best bands to come along in a long time! Love them! They are even better live. Saw them three times last year and feel sad it wasn’t more!

Hey Allan, a 71 yo Warning fan here! I’ve been following them since 2012 before they were The Warning, it all stared when I saw a very young Paulina giving the skins a right bashing, followed it up and found some awesome covers of popular rock music, amazing for their age. I’ve been on their case ever since and it’s been a great joy to see them progress from being a good covers band to what they are now!
For me one of the best achievements for them was opening for Muse in the Mexico leg of their world tour, there were 4 gigs in Mexico, two of them were in Mexico City. It was amazing to see them opening for their favourite band, it meant so much to them!

Nice reaction vid! Love the 7/4 riff in Evolve. I was late to the game with the Warning, too, but can't get enough of them now. Of their recent stuff, pick one, they're all great! Disciple, Enter Sandman with Alessia Cara, Choke, Error, Animosity Live at Teatro Metropólitan, Money, Error, Martirio, Kool Aid Kids. After all those, Revenant bored a hole in my soul. Also worth a trip back to when they were just 18, 16, and not quite 14 with Dust to Dust Live at the Lunario, or go all the way back to their viral cover of Enter Sandman when they were 14, 12, and 9.

Nice reaction. In this last year they have had more than 100 live shows. Aside from their own headlining “Mayday” shows, they have toured/opened for Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless, Three Days Grace. Opened for the Foo Fighters, Guns and Roses and 4 shows opening for Muse. They capped off 2022 at Rock el Parque in Colombia ( Latin America’s biggest music festival), followed by a headlining show in Lima, Peru. They head to Europe this summer with dates in Germany and the UK so far.
Not to mention opening for Def Loepard, Stryper and The Killers when they were mere children back in 2017!
These amazing mexicans sisters are going to Europe to play in Download festival and in another big one in Germany…conquering territory as they deserve.

I recommend you live sessions of the next songs, dust to dust live at lunario, dull knives live at the cave, animosity live at teatro metropolitan, as you can see the fan base is very passionate and they take the band as family, thats because most of the fanbase has seen this girls simply grow in youtube, they are very young but you can find videos of the band when bass player was like 8 years old, and since then they have been playing so they are considered seasoned musicians...

He has found all sorts of interesting locations in the city and they are very good at getting a lot out of a low budget. The less money they borrow from their label (Lava), the better off they are.

There most recent album "Error" is full of rock hits. Check out Error and Z and Animosity to start out with. If you really want to see how talented they are check out Dust to Dust Live at Lunario from about 4 years ago. The drummer sings lead and the song is a classic rock song. For Z and Animosity they have live studio performances on their RUclips page and they are really good.

With 2,320 Patrons on their Patreon account, they rank 11th in terms of patrons within the “Music” category. The 10 ahead of them are either “reactors”or cover bands, or on-line music instructors. That means The Warning has the greatest number of “Patreons” of any original music creators on the Patreon platform. They have done an incredible job of nurturing the relationship between themselves and their fans. They work hard at it.

Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 23) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band.
They had been uploading their musical journey to RUclips for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA.
They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues.
In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, RUclips and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever!
So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on RUclips and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star.
On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021.
In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song...

On October 8th, 2021, The Warning released six songs that were recorded for the new album on an EP titled Mayday with the remaining 6 songs to be released at a later date.

Their forst show was on Saltillo Mx followed by a short set openning for Mammoth WVH in Las Vegas, NV and another short set opening for Sammy Hagar in Austin Tx at the SXSW Festival. Welcome to the wonderful world of The Warning Allan! I see the rest of The Warning Army has already dropped by to say hi, give you proper introductions to the band, and plenty of recommendations. I will say that it is impossible to put their music into one specific genre or rock music because they will bounce around them from song to song. As they've said in interviews, they write each song to be the best it can be regardless of where it fits on someone's arbitrary spectrum of which category they have been assigned as a band, so be prepared to hear different influences in each of their songs. That variety is honestly very refreshing and is what defines them most of all. They're also just genuinely really good people and treat their fans more like family than any other band I have ever seen. I subscribed to enjoy the trip down this rabbit hole with you, can't wait for more!
Glad you enjoyed your first exposure to The Warning! Yep that was a drone they used, and the bit you called groovy at the end there is because they changed time signatures from the usual 4/4 used in the rest of the song (and most music in general) to 7/4, it happened for that little riff a few times throughout the song. Even those who don't know anything about music can often pick up on the different feel of it.
Recommendations:
If you want a guitar solo and the drummer singing lead and lots of attitude, try "Narcisista" (in Spanish, but still a favourite). If you want explosive heavier energy try "Dull Knives". If you want a jam try "Survive". If you want lots of bass try "Z". If you want powerful vocals try "Crimson Queen" (ballad) or "Martirio" (Spanish, not ballad). If you want piano ballads try "Black Holes" or "Show Me the Light". If you want kick-ass drums try "Unmendable". Nearly all of these songs have a live concert/live session version on their official RUclips channel (but just ask for links if you want them!). Each of these categories could have multiple other songs but hopefully this will keep you going! Have fun!
I'll add Disciple and P.S.Y.C.H.O.T.I.C. to the high energy songs (the latter being deep into a concept album with a story, so save that one along with dull knives if you want the rock novel experience) and Revenant to the ballads.

One of my guilty pleasures is watching a reactor listen the 'The Warning' for the first time. Whatever "It" is, 'The Warning' has it.
For me it is that they are so sincere. They write their own music. Intelligent and relevant lyrics. Genuine respect and appreciation of their fans. No sexualization.

Not sure what it is about them that inspires that feeling of guardianship, maybe it is that viral video of entering sandman when they were just 9 through 14. It happened to me though and I have heard other reactors say that as well. Heck it seems to have happened to some rockers like Lizzy Hale. Makes no sense really.

Impressively, There are Facebook Chapters of “The Warning Army” in almost every country you can think of… and probably a few you haven’t. Their fan pages in Indonesia and Bangladesh are surprisingly active.
Pau as in the pow-erhouse she is on the drums. Ale as in alley (for us english blokes) or All-ay (if you want to stay true to Spanish. And the guitarist Dani as in Danny. Ale just turned 18, and if you go back to their first appearance, she is 9 and the bass is as big as she is. Watch their cover of Muse's Hysteria that they did for their school. Little Ale just kills it.

The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 23, 21 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 2 more times during the 6 shows I attended on their recent North American MAYDAY Tour.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

@@metalzonereactions Yeah. Agreed. Luis, their dad, is an audio engineer, so that accounts for some of it. Apparently when they get to the studio, the demos are practically ready to go. Metallica asked The Warning, Alessia Cara, and several other bands to do a cover of Enter Sandman for their Blacklist album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. 53 artists were asked to take those iconic songs and do whatever they wanted with them. Alessia had no idea what to do but because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed the song and recorded it in one week! they created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. Martirio hadn't been my favorite song on Mayday (the first half of Error that was released), but live in Boston it was out of this world. They're always best enjoyed live, but there are some songs that only develop their full impact in person. I can only imagine it live in stadiums in Spanish-speaking countries, with everyone singing along.
