How about an Aberration Ascension before the ruination of the ARK?
I've always thought of that as a cool concept, and back in the day I thought of a map concept named "The Final Trial" that was based on it. Name doesn't make as much sense in hindsight, but aye.

in the event that rockwell never took over the ship, the fact that there were 4 other master ais kinda doesn't make any sense when you think about lore. the simulation is supposed to sltest you for when you arrive on arat, so how on earth would arat be anything like the simulation is?
i am geussing we didnt 100% know what Arat was like. It could also just help survivors not die since the genesis ship also brang many creatures to Arat that was in the simulation. Like Trikes. However, that means there will be no more Reapers or rockwell...... probably
