Also, the Senator claims he’s against wolf reintroduction. Next time, ask him what his role will be in repealing forced wolf introduction on the next ballot initiative?
What a bunch of softball questions. Why not ask: -why were the wolves being trapped in Canada before the commission voted to continue the introduction? -how does the state plan to pay for the wolves considering the first 10 already bankrupt the livestock compensation budget? -why didn’t you ask the senator if he’s concerned about the first gentleman’s role in meddling with the commission and even having a government email to conduct official business on wolves, even though he is not an elected official? -Finally, it was failed to ask after a deleted email surfaced, if the Senator feels like CPW Director Jeff Davis should be removed from his position? All around lazy journalism.
Whining to appease ag voters isn't getting us closer to solutions. Funding for conflict mitigation measures, helping producers prepare and prevent conflicts should be top of mind. Aren't range riders and LGDs CDA's responsibility? What did he do last year to get range riders funded and what will he do better this year? CPWs job is keeping wildlife and their employees safe right? As head of Ag, Roberts is in charge of getting resources to CDA not publicly complaining to CPW about transparency when their staff and animals are being constantly threatened by a few rogue extremists. Am I misunderstanding roles and responsibilities or is he just trying to placate panicking ranchers who can't stop blaming Davis for everything that goes wrong?
Wolves are wonderful & generally don't want to harm anyone... if they are near "cattle ranches" then it's a bit tricky, but it can be done. I don't eat cows, or drink cows milk so it's not my personal issue.

So you just like to "feel good" as long as it doesn't impact you?
They were hunted to near extinction because they don't want to hurt anybody, perhaps you could teach the wolves to not eat livestock like you.
