There are SO MANY people I used to watch that I can’t stand their content anymore because they are constantly pushing coupon codes, affiliate links, recommendations that they literally got a day ago 🙃 I have no problem with sponsored content but it eventually feels, as a viewer, that we are just being used. It started to feel like the viewers were seen as dollar signs vs friendship and community. Finding the niche on YT with underconsumption, use what you have mindset, project panning, etc is where it is at 🙌🏻 Thank you for being real and honest Sarah! ❤

I am not against “influencers” having sponsored content. And on the flip side I truly appreciate when someone will NOT take a sponsorship because of their morals. Some content creators, I feel like it comes across as solely for the money.

I dislike when influencers shop on sites like shein, she glam, temu. Then do these massive hauls. While at the same time there wearing luxury brands and sitting in this massive house. That combination doesn't make sense in my head. Also the vitamins you can overdose on taking too many vitamins it's called Hypervitaminosis . I thought that was an interesting fact.

I appreciate that you addressed this topic. I am sure you thought about how it would be received but I am so happy you put into words how you came these decisions. I agree with you about amazon that we as individuals can chose to shop there and use their services but I do not like that so many influencers are posting large scale hauls or amazon-exclusive shopping guides. I want to see a diverse array of options and make the decision myself where to shop and how to spend my money. I hope that others watching this video will take something from this and consider more wisely how their influence is being used to benefit certain corporations. cheers to you for being brave and discussing a topic like this. I enjoy your content immensely.

Everytime I see an ad from Temu, I feel nausea and discomfort. It is just like you say - they push for overcompsumtion in a hysterical and stressful manner. No moderacy, just frenzy. I have and will never shop at any of them - they are like leaches on the earths resources - sucks it all out to feed themselves fat.

I totally get you on that alcohol thing! I have the same. Few years ago when I started tracking my menstrual cycle I noticed that whenever I got drunk it was during my PMS (Before you accuse me of alcoholism, I didn't get drunk every month, but IF I got drunk it was during my PMS. It was the times when I was young, at the university, parting quite a lot. I wish I still had this much energy), so I stopped drinking any alcohol during my PMS. It became clear that I am a responsible drinker overall, enough to be talkactive, but always in control with clear judgement and keeping me and everyone else safe. I also hated getting drunk because as you said it felt awful next days. Later I got my ADHD diagnosis and when I started to taking my medication and managing it I started to drink even less. I wasn't entirely conscious decision this time. The conscious part was that I can't drink when I'm on my medication and that alcohol cause worse sleep quality but I also noticed that even if it was safe for me to drink like weekend or vacation I didn't. I preferred other activities at the parties, choosing different types of beverages. I also noticed that I tolerated alcohol worse and worse with age. Now, even if I have just one glass of red wine I need to drink a lot of water to avoid consequences next day. So I don't. I prefer to have a nice next day over having alcohol. I suspect (together with my therapist) that me managing better my ADHD led me to avoiding over-stimulation better so I don't need to self-medicate. It is very common for people with ADHD to get intoxicated to numb their senses as parties, clubs and large gatherings are overwhelming. Currently my alcohol consumption is having a glass of wine (white!) with my boyfriend on a movie night or some special event (wedding, friend's birthday etc. ) I whole-heatedly support you decision not to promote alcohol based businesses although I don't mind companies like Bright Cellar where the premise is to discover different types of wine. But I live in Europe where drinking culture is very different.

The drunkest I've ever been was in college, when I'd spent most of the day in bed with the worst day of my period but decided to go out late at night. (I'll spare the details, but: Led Zeppelin cover band.) My boyfriend was so sweet, he unwrapped a tampon for me. 😂 That was in 1998, and I haven't had more than a glass of wine during my period since...

I applaud your high standards. Amazon has terrible customer service. I received another person's package, who lived about 30 miles away from me. When I contacted Amazon they said, just keep it or dispose of it, and they didn't want to know the customer's information whose package was misdelivered so that they could resend the item. That really bothered me, they don't care at all about customer service.
