What are the special multi-chamber agates?
In this video, I show and explain you some very special and rare agates, where you can find different chambers!
I present to you agates from Morocco, Brazil (Polyhedroid) and the USA (Kentuky).

So beautiful to see the different super rare multi-chambered Agates from different locations around the world ❤
In my weekly collectors email I concluded it the following on what the most common terms are how multi-chambered agates can form:
1. as pseudomorph replacements, where the empty cavity of the former crystal has been filled with agate at a later time.
2. sedimentary formed agates as replacements of the original structure of the fossil, for example agatized corals or dinosaur bone.
3. Thunderegg agates, where the nodules have such a high saturation in the host rock, that they are so close together that they are somehow backed together.
Thanks for always giving so munch info on the agates, we learn something new every time. 😊
very educational. thanx for sharing your knowledge so freely!
Thanks for another interesting and lovely video 😊
Thank you for the video. They are all crazy amazing agates!!!! The first two are out of this world!!! I've never seen that before 😮😊❤
I hv been following your channel for some time. I think your knowledge is amazing and I also like how you explain it . And the beautiful specimens that you show
Amazing! Hope to see some in Tucson next year.
Hey Josh! Thanks for Uploading! So beautiful stones I have never seen before. Greetings from Germany
⛏🤝🤝🤝Thanks for the video! Interesting 👍👍👍👍👍
Great information. Thank you.
The coral multi-chamber agate reminds me of the millefiori glass paper weights, but in natural form...
Great video! The variety of multi chamber agates you share here really shows the range of what is possible. The agatized coral is really cool, but my favorite is the big Moroccan! Great video!
Thank you very much 😊
So we do have amygdaloidal rhyolite and it looks like rhyolite, every individual cavity filled in with a different agate I have several with blue, but one was such an amazing variety
Nice video. I’m surprised you didn’t mention Baker Mine agates. They more commonly have multi chambers than a lot of other agates. I have a few with 2 chambers and even 1 with 3.
Sounds really cool! It is a shame you can´t post pictures of them... I´m sure many with me are curious to see them
I am aware that they exist. 😊
I probably just didn’t have any good multi Chamber Bakers handy that I could have talked about. 😅
I've come to know they're formed like seam' agate's, but in a much rarer formation.
