  • Here's a followup video of my Wheelock MT-24-LSM to demonstrate all the tones the device is capable of doing. I did a similar video for my MT-24-MCW, and yes, the tones are all the same. However, the strobe is different here; which creates a slightly different experience, probably because of the look and how fast it flashes, not to mention, the capacitor sounds.
    TONE INDEX:
    Horn:
    Bell:
    March Time Horn
    Code 3/Temporal Horn:
    Code 3/Temporal Tone:

    DISCLAIMER:
1: It is a FELONY to pull a fire alarm in public to falsely report a fire (i.e. "Just for fun"). A fire alarm in a public building should only be pulled if there is actually a fire or other emergency. However, this is being activated in a controlled and legal environment, an enthusiast's test setup. No fire departments were called when activating the alarm.
2: This video contains flashing lights from a strobe. Those prone to seizures from flashing lights SHOULD NOT WATCH THIS VIDEO.
I AM NOT responsible for any legal damages done for pulling a false alarm, or for any seizures. These are your decisions, not mine!

The mall in my city has these as the main alarm signals through the concourse and a few stores, and they all do Code-3 Horn.

The “HiLo” tone sounds like an emergency vehicle siren you might hear in Europe.

You should do a Wheelock MT-24-LSM vs Gentex GOS vs System Sensor MA/SS-24 all tones! Would be a cool comparison. Battle of the multi-tone horn/strobes!

Though loud, the older LSM model is pretty cool, glad to have both the post 2002 model with the horizontal strobe and this. One of these days, I'd like to get the -VFR edition (the outdoor version). The strobe on those look pretty cool.
Best of luck with your new LSM MT.
