RIP Mark ! System Six is my favourite Mark Shreeve track. Especially the 18 minutes studio version. And all the music of Mark is so great. It reminds me of Tangerine Dream when they did albums in 1974. Assassin is also a great track. One of my favourites. I discovered Mark with the album Legion. Saw it in the record shop for a low price and I thought let's try it. I wasn't wrong at all. Miss you so much Mark !!!!!!
Fantastic to hear these awesome tracks played live. I remember seeing Mark play at the inaugural EMMA festival in Derby back in March 1994. Mark headlined the event and I heard Storm Column for the first time. I couldn't wait to get my hands on all of his fabulous music.
John Carpenters Assault on Precinct 13…..soundtrack inspired Mark to produce the incredible Assassin album…..the must have album…..the sequences and arpeggios are mesmerising…
Similaire en tous point à Tangerine Dream période Schmoelling. Mark ne se contentait pas d'imiter; il y a une véritable maîtrise du genre (sûrement grâce aux conseils avisés de Chris Franke...). Son œuvre est globalement très intéressante. RIP Mark

The tightly laced sequences and performances lead me on a cerebral journey in the classic electronic music style!
RIP Mark. An inspiration to many. 😢
O! I do not know that he died. He was born in June 2, 1957, I was born June 6,1957. Ooooooo! RIPA.
True! - For Me he was and still is!

Mark Shreeve can do no wrong in my eyes. Just brilliant.
I love all of the electronic music you post!
Great rhythmic electronic music! Keep up the good work and concerts!
Much prefer his solo stuff. Wish he would return to this style of music.
Beautiful!

Excellent upload, thank you! But who's playing guitar solo in the end of "Assasin"? Is it live or sampled?
22:00 sounds like Xenon 2 by Megablast... WTF?
Assassin is Very powerful @ 25:39
un des plus sympas synthesistes anglais , catégorie symphonique
👍🏼
I can't see anyone moving on the stage...
No... they didn't move much in those days.
Where can I get an audio copy of this please?
Absolutely fantastic. Better than TD.
OMG this is awesome. Where did you get this from?
It was a web only download from Music Zeit I think. I can put in on GDrive if you want it.
@@RichardW001 I'd love that, thank you!
Aurora Martell isnt it just awesome ?
Richard W thank you for this. Very much.
;-)
Is that Ian Boddy on the far left?
Yes. I don't know if you can see the description under the vdeo, but there is a lot of info there.
@@RichardW001 Thank you.👍 No, I can't see descriptions under most videos. I'm having all sorts of issues with youtube right now.
Oh, no wonder he was in REDSHIFT. Come up with your own stuff...
Mark Shreeve, released all this stuff about 5-10 years before he formed Red Shift
Sure sounds like a ripoff of Ricochet by Tan Dream...
Yes he uses sequencers as well, with vastly different time signatures and stronger melodies than the brilliant T Dream
Simon Jones Assassin is based on the soundtrack to the film Assault on Precinct 13, by John Carpenter who wrote the music.
Sounds nothing like the subliminal Ricochet.
wm brunton disagree. they are both beautiful in their own way
