- A little while ago, on an overcast Friday Morning I made my way down to Area 2 to try and catch up with some trucks I hadn’t filmed in quite a while, I was hoping to get this truck and also FN20003, which was collecting Greenwaste in the same area, However I didn’t manage to find that truck on this day, I Actually ended up filming that truck the day after on Saturday Missed collections.
I was quite pleased to catch up with FN20004 again, as it's been ages since I’ve seen it around, This is one of 4 2019 Dennis Gen6s Citywide have running, however this is the only one to feature a SPORT 29m³ body, It was originally planned to be used on Greenwaste, and was for a few years, it then became the spare truck for a number of years, and was regularly seen collecting all 3 bins, more recently around mid 2024 it has become a full time Garbage truck, This driver previously drove FN18100 which swapped with this truck, so now FN20004 is used full-time on Garbage and FN18100 is used as a spare truck,
This truck recently got a bit of an arm rebuild, with lifter beams and new grabs, I’m not entirely sure why, but it looks as if it could do with a new spill shield. It was good seeing a 29m on Garbage, I think it looks cool with the larger body on the smaller bins, This is the 2nd time I’ve filmed a 29m on Garbage, the other being 11480, which I haven’t yet uploaded. The downside of using a larger body is the amount of bins you can get in a load, I believe the limit on this truck is around the 900-950 mark, whereas on a 22m³ body you can get well over 1000.
Thanks to my mate who was following along, helping to move bins, and Thanks to Lee for being chill with me filming.
Great video Dave I actually really like this truck and it looks cool on garbage, and at 5:33 that bin is very badly damaged lol I though it was going to fall in lol, keep up to good work.
Thanks mate.
I quite like this truck on garbage. Big body & the small bins look’s good.
Haha that bin had seen better days, I was expecting the grab to get caught in the side or something. It’s since been replaced. Had it been Daniel he would have “deleted” it right there and then! 😂
Cheers!
@CitywideGarbo haha Daniel defiantly would of deleted the bin lol, your welocme!
