This is because Haneul, the creator of the brand and also a RUclipsr (Ha Neul오늘의 하늘), has been involved in different controversies. The main one is that, apparently, she was a violent bully in high school, and went on to abuse her employees. She eventually apologized for her behavior and stepped down as CEO of the company because people were also boycotting them. She recently had another controversy after her marriage because people found out the identity of her husband. He'd been in jail for fixing sports matches, and apparently there was some evidence of her maybe attempting to fix E-game events as well. Overall, just shady people. Even though she stepped down as CEO, the brand has been greatly affected by the controversies, despite being a hugely successful brand a few years ago. No Korean influencer talks about them anymore, there's almost complete silence. The more you know! Of course, you're free to buy whatever you want.
